Great subwoofer
Have this bad boy installed under the passenger seat and definitely you'll feel it. I can't say though how much you'd feel it if installed in the trunk but definitely won't sound obnoxious outside the vehicle. perfect for a great amount of bass w/o being noticeable outside of it, so less attraction for people who would try to break in n steal it.

Well worth the cost
After researching several different types of powered subs for my Jeep Wrangler I decided to go with the kicker hideaway 10”. Took less than 2hrs to install and I am a novice. I placed underneath/behind driver side seat and is pretty much undetected and out of the way. I have an aftermarket Kenwood and the hook up was rather simple but but the kicker RCA plugs for ease. The extra thump and deep bass my Jeep now has was well worth the cost. The Crutchfield tech team is also helped answer a few questions and I couldn’t have had a better experience dealing with them. Highly recommend crutchfield and this powered sub if you’re looking to add bass to your ride.
