Waited FOREVER for these to come out! Installed 2 pair in our brand new Avalon Catalina boat. I used a 4 channel Hifonics Zeus 600 to push them. Sounds great and you can hear them at full speed with wind in your face! They look amazing lit up.
Pro's: Great sound, awesome lighting display with many variations and colors. Great addition to any boat with existing LED lights! They strobe, pulse and stationary.
Con's: The $40 remote is sold separately and is a must if you want to turn them on and off and change display. I don't know how the speakers work without it. Way to expensive at $174.99 a pair. Wiring instructions are not real clear and quite extensive (6 wires per speaker)

Great Sound!
I bought these speakers to use on the tower of my wakeboard boat primarily because of their price, but had also found a few reviews on-line stating they had good sound. I hook up two pairs to a Wet Sounds HT-4 amplifier and they sound awesome. Solid midbass and highs. So for the price they exceeded my expectations, not to mention they come with white and charcoal grills to match your interior or tower. I have not hooked up the LED, but hope to do so in the future. And of course, Sonic Electronix came through with a good price and quick delivery.
