This is an awesome piece to add to your system. I currently have this unit installed. The pros, this thing has a high 7volt rms signal outputs, the ability to adjust 5 frequency within the kickers supplied ranges, 12db cut/boost on knobs associated with the 5 bands, has a built in bass knob, line switching feature, clipping indicators and green & amber change setting. The cons, only cons are stupid really and are senseless to list. Overall the kq5 is an awesome piece to add and just the look of this in your dash screams kicker performance.

If you own a kicker amplifier and a kicker subwoofer you will not know what kicker actually means unless you have one of these i own two kicker solo baric l7 and i hooked up this equalizer to my kicker IX1000.1 amp it shattered my windshield the week after i had replaced my windshield due to it being cracked brand new winshield shattered this is a must buy if i could rate this product it would be more then a five star i give it a 6 star rating

Great EQ
This little EQ offers alot of control for the many types of music I listen to. just a small turn of one of the knobs and the guitars really jump out. You wont go wrong with this EQ.
