great product

this it a great kit, its 10 times better than the stock speakers i had. downside the crossover sucks but it does provide a great split after my active crossover.

They get loud

Well my first set one of the speakers stoped working. So sonic sent me a brand NEW pair. Thank you Sonic for that. Now the speaker they are great and with an amp they get loud and sound clean doin it. Not too much bass but they are 5 1/4 speakers.

what you pay for

I was replacing my bmw 528 with these cause they are one of the only ones that would fit the stock enclosures. After doing so I found out that the stock was still better. Im gonna save up and just build a custom enclosure.

Good, but def not great.

For the money, these components are a good buy. The highs can be harsh and the mids seem a little underpowered, but this set is a good value overall. They play loud & clear on deck power & installation wasn't bad, except for the x-overs (they are HUGE!). I would recommend to anyone on a budget like myself.

NOT TO HAPPY

Installed on my bike and at first they were fine but now about 6 months later they seem to have blown because when i turn up the volume they break up.

Good highs and mids

I installed these in my 1999 grand prix and they were easy to install and had great sound. I'm very happy with these speakers i will always recommend Kicker speakers and subs they are very high quality.

Worth the money!

Installed these a week ago and they sound amazing. Alot better than a simple 2 way speaker. Can't wait to get an amp on them and see what they really sound like!

great componene set for the price!

I just bought two sets of these. They are a great deal for the price. i am very pleased with the sound. The installation went very smooth. I like the fact that you can mount the tweeter to the speaker. That really cut down on install time. I would recommend these for some one who wants to improve the sound of a factory stereo with out cutting into the car.

Great

Bought these for my 01' Grand Marquis to replace stocks. Flush mounted to speaker, running +3 on crossover car is filled with crisp sound w/ no distortion. Hooked to a Kenwood X794 head unit. Matched with 6*9 KS6930 on Rear deck. Does very well with my eq level set and great on bass.

Great while they lasted!!!

I purchased 2 sets of these for my 08 F-350. They were being powered by a JL XD 700/5 and a 13 inch JL audio sub. They worked great for about 8 or 9 months then one of the front oned blew both tweeter and midrange. Then 2 weeks later another went bad. If you are planning on using a hi powered amp system then I would look into a different product.

Great product for the price

I'm definitely happy with my purchase of the Kicker KS50.2. Definitely use the crossovers though, and hook them up to one channel. Without the crossovers, there is a lot of distortion. I just finished the install yesterday and am happy with it. The tweeters are awesome, I mounted mine on my ceiling right above the two front seats, they look sweet. Not to mention the speaker grilles look awesome too. Before the install, my bass overpowered the vocals; that's not the case anymore. As of right now, I would say the system could be a little louder, so hopefully after breaking in a little more that will happen. All in all I would definitely recommend this product to anyone. Oh, and don't let me forget, I received my package the day after I ordered it! One day, free shipping. You can't beat that! Sonic is the best, hands down. Their prices beat anyone's and so does their support. I will go nowhere else for my mobile electronics, THANKS SONIC!

Pros: Great price, AWESOME look, plenty of speaker wire, good sound.

Cons: Could have came with a few more wire connectors.

Kicker

These are loud, I mean loud. Very clear. Great speakers for the price. Wouldn't go with anything else for what I was looking for.

What I Expected!

This component set is exactly what I expected from Kicker. I installed these myself. I cut a whole in my door to mount the tweeters flush. I have them connected to an older Kicker ZX460 and they sound great! The sound is very clear. I am planning on buying another set for my back doors. Definitely worth the money.

Very nice

These are the best component speakers I have ever heard. They are very crisp and sound amazing. I have them running off of a Hifonics amp and I can hear them over my 2 10" kicker comps. Good deal too.

good kicker speakers sound real nice and crispy

Disappointing

Bought this set in Dec 2010, driven through crossovers they come with from a Kicker ZX-700. They sounded great at first. Now one year later, they were buzzing at low volume. It becomes somewhat 'covered up' at mid-level volume, but over the past two months, I can now hear buzzing through the whole range. Replacing with some other brand.

I own my own car audio business and have installed in the industry for 16 years. I have owned these components for six months. They sound great, they look great. The price was far less than C**********, or any of the car audio shops in my area. Sonic offers top notch customer care and warranties. I have purchased other electronics from Sonic since this purchase. They are a Five Star company in my opinion. I would recommend these speakers, and this company to anyone.

These speakers are a great addition to a sound system. The mids are very good with almost no distortion even at very high volume, and the highs from the tweeters are crisp and clear. Great surround sound.
