big improvement

I bought these because my factory speakers couldn't keep up with my subs. There was a big difference in quality after installing these. They are great for the price!

smooth and clean

These KS60s are the smoothest i have ever heard.Just running off my head unit, 20rms. Not designed for bass but verry clean.

Hmmm

I bought these's speakers thinking they would add some bass too the car. i don't know if i wired something wrong but they don't have much at all the sound is amazing great highs and amazing mids and lows. IT seems too be my sony's 4X7 In the back have more bass then the kickers odd.. if someone can help me with what i need hit me a email krisvanzandt1988@yahoo.com

I ran these off of 22w from my deck for a while, and they didn't sound like anything special, not much bass, not any more sound output than my 3.5" Alpines in the dash. Then I got a Kenwood KAC6402 to power these KS60 and my components in the back.
WOW, BIG difference. With 40w from an external amp vs 22w from the deck, they sounded like a whole new, better, set of speakers. The little to no bass output from before was replaced by a surprising amount of punchiness, and the mids and highs became clear and detailed much better than before. They do not distort at all at full power from the amp, no crossover is neeeded.
These are a decent set of coaxials to run off your head unit, but if at all possible run them off an amp! It will make a huge difference!

Decent

Greatly outperformed my stock speakers. It made it sound so much louder and of course installing was easy with the quick hookup wires.
