Wow

Replaced speakers from my Subaru Outback with McIntosh sound system which cost $3500. I thought that this McIntsoh was the tightest car stereo I'd ever heard. Was worried - but the Kickers KS600 are even better than the Macs. Couldn't believe my ears. Don't hesitate you won't be disappointed.

KS60

Decent speaker for the price lacks durability but has quality sound

These are some of the best coaxials out there for 75 bucks. The highs are a tad tingy but thats not nessasarilly bad, just depends on personal preference, overall great speaker and a greater value.

Awsome Sound

I bought one pair of Kicker KS60 for my 1973 Nova. They sound awesome for Rock and Roll music. They really thump the bass on classic rock/Heavy Metal. I would recommend these speakers to all my friends. They have Awesome Sound.

Fitting

First I'd like to say Sonic is my favorite source for car audio and knowledge. However, according to them this speaker will not fit my 1998 Dodge Durango. I just put these into my Dodge this weekend without any modifications. Just thought they should know.

Good Product for replacing or upgrading speakers

I purchased the KS series to replace my Gfs DS 6x9 in her rear deck. There's just something that about round speakers that i like more than having the oval shape. anyways they sound crisp and clear for being kicker.

Kicker 11KS60

I thought it would be a better product overall, to me it seems to neglect audio quality. When pushed to louder volumes it does lack performance as well.

Sound Great

Love that they are waterproof, great in the golf cart.

Great Speakers

Over all these speakers are great they look nice and sound great. The speakers have good bass to them and voice. They make my car mirrors shake. The best thing is that I got a discount on them so that's a plus.

Excellent low profile speakers

This is a great speaker, very clear, and good bass response for its size. It solved an problem for me in my classic car, as the kick panel speakers I had were impeding me using the clutch pedal. After I replaced them with the Kicker, I was pleasantly surprised at the great sound even with the much lower profile. They were a snap to install.

Excellent buy!

I have used this pair of speakers in my car for a little bit more than 2 weeks.
The sound quality is superb compared to my stock (paper...) speakers!
It is almost like i've got a subwoofer! The price was about right and the speakers really look resistant.

The midbass is reproduced perfectly as so the highs, It works great even with an OEM headunit.

If you have a high pass filter, use it about 80hz. It'll sound better, if you don't, simply raise two notches the highs, and 1 notch the lows.

The only little inconvenient about these, is that they are a little bit smaller than 6 inches, about 1.3 cm, this isn't a big inconvenience, but that can cause a bit of trouble in the installation (ie. Screw alignment)

Worth the money, but watch the size

These speakers have greatly added so much sound to my small car. the one thing to be aware of, I have 6.5" holes for 6.5" speakers, it took some time and extra parts to get them to fit, the speaker rim is actually smaller than that.

Quality Speakers

Truly great speakers. Have have them on a 600 watt amp. They can't take all the power that the amp has to give but they still keep up with my 800 watt sub. The mounting brackets are plastic unless you take off that part of it off, but then there aren't any holes, just U shapes for mounting.

Kicker ks600

These things sound horrible. Get the ks650's they sound great. The .5" makes a difference.

Good deal...

The kicker cvx series happens to be a great speaker, its not the cheapest & its not the most expensive, its right in the middle, for the going price its optimal sound. Solo barrics are top of the line, but who has the money for that & who really needs top of the line, great speaker decent price & decent vendor/ seller...

Big Upgrade

So I originally put Polk DB570s (5x7s) in my F150. They were an easy fit but one busted after 10 months. I was never really happy with the sound from the Polks anyways. I bought these and did some minor modifications (trimming some plastic) to get them to fit. OMG they sound 10 time better than the Polks. I am very happy with the Kicker KS600s. I'm really amazed at how much of an upgrade they are over the Polks.

Very good coaxial speakers

Good speakers in every way. Very pleased with them. Was running 2 upfront and 2 in the back. Changed out the front for a set of component speakers, but kept 2 in the back. Lows, mids, highs are clear and loud. Couldn't ask for anything more from a coaxial speaker. I play them loud and they don't distort at all if crossed over at 80 hz or higher. Have had them for about 6 months, no problems at all. Powered at 70 watts RMS a channel.

Kicker KS600

Good Speakers, sound really good. The Highs and mids sound great but when there is a lot of bass it sounds slightly distorted. Great speakers for the price.

Worth the effort and expense!

I would highly recommend these speakers, they are reasonbly priced and have a great sound for the price. I installed them in my 2004 350Z. The bass is strong and crisp. The highs are crisp and clear as well.

Kicker KS600

good all around product. blows away my stock speakers. sounds great with my rockford subs and kenwood rear speakers.

I ordered these to replace the blown out speakers in my doors. Due to lack of space, I had to take out my sub amp and my dash speakers (4" Infinity Kappas) to make room for my amp. Before my door speakers were blown, they were nowhere near what these can do!

Kicker Always

I bought two sets running with an autotek 400.4 100 watts rms per speaker have my crossover on headunit set at 120 hz. and about the same on the amp. They sound loud and clear especially when I open the doors they scream out. People freak out. I have them in a 81 malibu two door with custom door panels. They are not 6.5 speakers get that straight guys. They are a little smaller, they almost didn't fit on a 6.5 speaker spacer, but I got them to work. I had to make new holes because before I did have 6.5 speakers on the doors. So just to break it down there 6 inch I measured them and they sound good with an amp I have never tried them without an amp. I dont like the grills much. I like the wire mesh type grills better, those always looks and match good.

i researched for about two months before making my decision on these speakers, and im glad i did because these are the best 6.5 speakers for the money i have heard. i have two of these and two 6.5 components in my tundra powered by 70 watts rms per channel. i highly recommend. make sure to get your self the best deal and buy from sonic!

Durable!!!

I have 8 of the ks 6-1/2s and 8 3-1/2s in my s10. I have the 6-1/2s on a 650.4 I haven't had a problem yet. I love these things... They are super clear and can get super loud.

Great

i ordered these to replace some pioneer 6-1/2's these have a larger magnet and the sound quality is great... these are on a kicker 4 channel amp along with some kicker tweeters and they have more bass and highs than the other 6-1/2's overall i am pleased with both sound quality and bass out of these.

Travel Trailer

I've never owned anything Kicker has made, but with the prices Sonic Electronix has I gave them a try. I put a pair of KS600 in my travel trailer and they rock! I've purchased a P400 to push them and now I wish I would have gotten the P500. These speaks aren't going to win a trophy but I promise you won't be disappointed.

Good speakers.

I heard a pair of these in my friends truck, not too bad, just bought them. I am replacing my current setup, pioneer 4x6s, 6 1/2s, kole 800w amp, and 2 12s, for an all kicker setup, ks 4x6s, ks 6 1/2s, ks 6x9s, and a kicker zx 200.2 amp for the 6x9s. Ya ya, I know, NO SUBS!?! But this time around I'm going for SQ rather than SPL. Eventually, I may get an 8inch SoloBaric L7, but for now I want to keep with Sound Quality but still a nice amount of bass, nothing overwhelming. Back to ratings, all-in-all great speakers for SQ, and still have a nice amount of kick to them without distortion. Recommended buy for sure :)

What I expected.

Great brand, great speaker. I did my homework when looking for a quality speaker, yes there are others that are comparable and maybe better but I have always liked Kicker. Looks awesome and handles awesome too. Great lows, mids and highs. It performs just how I thought would, excellent. Highly recommended.

Kicker a brand I like

I ordered a set for a 2004 dodge neon after I called Kicker and they told me they were 6.5 inch speakers well there not! Good thing I had adapter plates to be able to mount them on the car The speakers sound decent nothing to amazing the looks of the speaker are also ok nothing to wild they are kinda heavy and seem to be well made.

GREAT VALUE AND SOUND!

I have a 2007 escalade with a bose premium system and one of the rear door speakers blew. So i replaced both rear door speakers with the ks600. Sounds good with the factory speakers and since i only replaced the rear door speakers it mixed very well. I may replace all the door speakers but i do suggest that you run a small amp if you are going to keep the factory system. Other than that i am very satisfied.

wow!

I've had these speakers for a while now and I'm completely satisfied. They are loud and crisp. I am running them off of a Kenwood eXcelon head unit and they don't start to distort until I get up to 2/3 volume, but that's not the speakers fault, it's because the head unit isn't powerful enough. They will be able to get louder and clearer after I hook them up to a 4 channel amp. Overall these speakers sound great. And they really bump too!

Kicker KS600

OK.I just bought this set of speakers.My first expierence with kicker.for a 6 inch speaker they have phenominal sound.godd mid bass and clear highs.their top mount depth is a plus also compared to other brands.for the money they are a great value.however the down side is the speaker grills.what where the engineers thinking?they are butt ugly.and their mounting desin is the strangest thing i have ever seen.what ever happened to plain black grills with a nice logo on it?because of the grills i cant give a 5 for rating.if you wont see the speaker or wont need the grills use them,you wont be disapointed.

6 1/2 kicker

I bought these speakers and installed them in a Chevy extended cab after blowing the previous speakers. These are louder and clearer. I use them for mid range and treble. I’ve had them about 3 months and I have pushed them hard and they are built well. I’d buy them again.

Nah

I've only had these in my car for about 5 months and one of them is already blown. Not a very well made product i suppose.

ok for the money but no bass

These speakers ARE NOT a bolt in replacement for the Jeep Grand Cherokee that I bought them for. They are slightly small for the opening and had to modify the opening so the speaker could mounted correctly

Nice and Clean

I bought this from sonic. I installed it in my Hyundai accent. Sounds clear and looks nice too. My friends was amazed how it sounded and asked where i bought it. I told them i ordered it form the net.( i live in Philippines)Its worth the price.

Great Speakers

I have six of these in my boat and a 2 channel kicker amp with a sony xplod deck. They are extremely loud but they do not handle mid bass very well at all. But I would definitely buy these again especially for the price.

Bought these speakers six months ago. Great sound I am very happy. Decent price. Highly recommend them.

Decent speaker set.

The fit on kicker speakers is really annoying but for their rating they can handle a lot of power. The price wasn't the greatest but they turned out to be OK. The tweeters scream and the mid hits pretty hard.

greatt speakers

these speakers are amazing. im currently still waiting to hook up my kicker cvr 12s for the needs of bass in my car, but until then, i have had these turned up with the bass level high. whenever i pull up to a majority of my friends, they always say oh you got your 12s in?, only theyre just 4 small side speakers. im stoked to see how the cvr 12s blow me away if these 6 1/2 inch speakers can "sound" like subs from outside

Cheap Price

I just purchased these speakers at a local sound company and spent almost double! I wish i found this site sooner. These are great speakers for that price. I would recommend these.

Highs

I got three pairs of these to go into the tower speakers box on my boat. They are great for playing loud treble and that's what I wanted them for. No complaints there loud.
