I have had these speakers for over 8 months now. I don't drive all that often but when I do i have my stereo all the way up. They still sound just fine, these along with the same series 5 1/4's keep the vocals just as loud ad the bass from my subs (two 12" jackhammers subs each powered by a 760W pioneer amp.) I have them running on a JVC head unit. DON'T try to save 20 dollars and get junk speakers that sound like garbage in a month. These are well worth the money.

Replacement door speakers

I am really happy with the sound these put out on a stock deck and even more impressed with what they do on my new head unit 4x50 watts. They sound very crisp and clear and put out pretty good mid bass. Im thinking about adding a small amp to push they power these speakers want. At 90 watts RMS these speakers should sound even better with just a little more power than what a standard deck wants to give them.

This is a simple and must have upgrade for your stock car stereo, for under 100 bucks and all you need are some basic hand tools to do it yourself.

I bought these speakers for my 1990 camaro, and they aren't much louder than my stock speakers, would not recommend them for the price.

The speakers produce great highs. The bass is decent but you can expect too much bass from any 6x9. I would recommend them to anyone.

Kicker KS69's are fine

Bought these pretty much on reputation and specs alone. I never heard them. Used to replace the stock rear deck speakers in a '96 Camry. The install took a fair amount of customizing (only because of Toyota's lack of standardization). Once the install was completed properly, they sounded nice. Pretty full range of sound and clarity. Acceptable lows (nothing to wake the neighbors, but that was hardly my goal or desire). They kick butt compared to the stock speakers, paired with an aftermarket Sony HU. They seem to be well made and I'm sure will last as long as I have the car. Overall, very pleased and would recommend.

OEM Upgrade to Kicker Products

I needed to upgrade the oem speaker system in my car, and after careful consideration chose to use Kicker products.

Two 6x9 two ways are run stock to the rear deck, with matching series 4x6 two ways, filtered below 100hz, installed in the front doors A Pioneer deck, stock at 22 watts/ channel, with all installation accessories coming from SonicElectronics completed the upgrade.

Everything works perfectly together. So well, in fact, I used Kicker and Pioneer products to upgrade the system in my wife's van. And yes, that all came from SonicElectronics as well.

Awesome sound

These speakers were a great replacement for the stock speakers in my 2011 Dodge Ram. It takes a little fabrication to make them fit because they are about 1/2 inches too deep but its worth the effort.

97 Civic Lx

I like these speakers because they sound very clear and have deep bass. Problem is they distort very easily with certain bass lines. It gets very annoying at times.

Nice Upgrade

Kicker did a nice job on these. The tweeters that Kicker have been known for being overly bright have been toned down, and now just offer great clarity. They also hit very low. I would recommend installing these before getting a sub, as you may feel you don't need one. I have a pair of these in my doors and a pair in the back deck, and they sound great (I have owned Alpine, JL, Polk, Boston, Infinity, Pioneer, Kenwood over the years). These speakers sounded very nice running off the head unit, but amped, they sound great. I would buy again and recommend to friends.

Awesome clarity

These speakers have awesome clarity and even with the bass up don't distort until very high volumes. They do require alot of power would prefer to hook them up to a amp.

AMAZING SPEAKERS!

When I first got these speakers I didn't have them hooked up to an amp and they sounded good but I was hoping the sounded better but then a few weeks ago. I hooked them up to a dual 300 watt amp and WOW!!! I was amazed by the difference! I had the biggest smile on my face when I heard them with the amp! They sound great hooked up to an amp they took all the power. no distortion at all, the bass is good! If you want subs these will give you some bump! My rear view mirror shakes! They definitely live up to the name KICKER because they do for sure KICK! Now of course you're not going to be heard from miles away but they are loud! I would recommend to anyone!

AWESOME!!

These speakers are awesome!! And for the price they are the best. I have these monsters hooked straight to my JVC deck in a 70 GMC 4x4 and they were LOUD. I couldn't turn it all the way up for it hurting my ears. The speaker puts out excellent highs without sacrificing lows. its almost like having a little 8" next to some 6"s. New KICKER guy for life!!

Good mid bass!

Good speakers in this price range. They are well built with quality materials and come with speaker grills and wire. I actually don't care much for the bling grill designs. These speakers can also take a beating. I bought the model with the single tweeter design because I don't like to hear high frequencies coming from the rear of the vehicle. This keeps the soundstage in front of me where it should be. If you don't have a subwoofer and you want a drop in speaker replacement for your factory 6x9s these will give you a nice little bass boost.

Kicker Kicks!

I got these for the rear deck of my 2000 Olds Intrigue. They have amazing bass kick to them! I originally didn't want subwoofers cause these were good enough! Great range of lows, mids, and highs! I listen to and blast a lot of dance, trance, techno, and hip-hop, and they kick! If you want good budget speakers, get these! Great sound with no distortion!

highly recommend this product. A much bigger sound than what I thought it would produce. other places are selling a cheaper speaker at the same price as these kickers. Can not go wrong with the value of a kicker and the great service that you provide completes the deal.

I bought these a while back and installed them each in a sealed box. They sound amazing! The high's, mid's, and the bass is wonderful. I have them hooked up to a hifonics 300watt amp and they take the watts like nothing. I highly recommend these speakers. Go with kicker and you will not regret it.

great speakers

I needed a set of 6 x9 's that would fit in my rear speakers. There is not much clearance in the Mitsubishi Galant I have so the only speaker that would fit is the Kicker's. Unbelievable. They sound awesome. I used my old Soundstream d100 2 channel amp and bridged it for mono to use as a subwoofer with my JBL 10 INCH. Then I tried a new amp by a company called audiopipe. 4 channel amp. Only was $125 for the audiopipe. I added sony door speakers up front, and for a modest price upgrade the sound is incredible. I have an old Pioneer head cd unit and my friend is in from California and he heard the system and was blown away. He said it is the best sound system he ever heard in a car. He told me his friend paid about $2000 for a system and it sounded like garbage. Morale of the story, keep any good audio components you have when you get rid of the car & eventually get & upgrade when you need new system and you will sound better & save money. The kickers were a very pleasant surprise. And they sound good with all types of music. Jazz, rock, big band music, pop. Get them . They sound great even at loud levels.

I got this pair to replace the blown factory speakers on my 07 ram. They are powered by a pioneer stereo and they sound clean and loud. I recommend this to anyone.

I really think these are awesome speakers and they really represent the Kicker name well. It plays all genres of music extremely well and I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for an affordable, great looking, high out-put speaker. The only thing that I found to be a pain was the cheap little clamp nuts that are provided to screw into. All of mine broke and I had to go to a hardware store and replace them with higher quality ones. (they were like 25 cents a piece and you only need 8) Other then that it's a great purchase.

Great for the price!

I have these, along with the ks 6" and ks 4x6" speakers, 6" awesome, 4x6" ehh, okay... these...AMAZING! have them hooked up to a zx200.2 amp and they take the power just fine, don't hit the lows all that well, but hey, they're 6x9s so...but the loudness and clarity of ALL speakers is just amazing, planning to port the 6x9 boxes in hopes that it will put out more bass and more effectively hit lower frequencies. Buy them, I highly recommend.

So far I haven't had any problems yet and they still sound great. I am impressed and plan to do future business with Sonic Electronix.

BASS

These are probably one of the hardest hitting speakers I've heard, I got mine running off of a Pioneer headunit alone and they sounded good. I just wish they were louder, don't get me wrong there loud as hell but there's room for improvement, also when turned up loud when it hits, the sound quality gets distorted but overall good speaker.

These speakers are amazing. They are extremely clear and very loud. I had them set up without an amp and they rock but I just installed an amp and they are even better. I would recommend these to anyone.

Very good

I have these running off of a Hifonics amp and they sound amazing. They have decent lows, but they are really strong in the mids and highs. They sound good over my 2 10" kicker comps.

these 6x9's rock!

I just got 2 sets of these. I didn't think they would be nearly as nice as they are. i have never heard a 6x9 that bumps as hard as these do! after i got done putting them in my friends thoguht that i had a sub in the trunk. they make the perfect match for the ks502 component set. i am running them both off of a 08zx350.4. I would recomend this combo to any one. You will not be dissapointed.

One of the highest rated companies (kicker) out there in speaker and amp products I have a 350.1 Kicker amp hooked up 2 these 6x9 speakers that the RMS is 90 watts and the amp is 100 watts RMS on 4 channels and the speakers do every bit of that 100 watts at best quality and best speaker and brand you can get for actual wattage. Thanks for this purchase and price Sonic Electronix item also arrived on time.
