Replacement Dash Speakers

The following review is for a previous version (11KS35).

Affordable, Simple, Crisp and clear speakers.
I used these to upgrade my stock stereo, I first had them connected to a stock head unit and they made a huge difference in sound but then I added my new Deck 4x50watts and these things really woke up!
This is a must do to any stock car stereo to really hear what you have been missing.

Installed in Miata Headrest

The following review is for a previous version (11KS35).

Put these in the Miata headrest and wired them in 8 ohm so I can power them by just the rear channel of the amp, that way I can use the fader to control the level of headrest separately from the Polk components up front. Higher levels to these Kickers sound GREAT with the top down! These speakers do exactly what I wanted, and Sonic has them at the lowest price!

Awesome speakers

I replaced the factory dash (left and right only) on my 2010 Altima with these and they sound fantastic! Very clear with no distortion-would definitely recommend them

Read this!

The following review is for a previous version (11KS35).

I have 96 honda accord coupe. I ordered two sets of these (total of 4) to replace both front 6.5's and both rear 6x9's. Crazy right? They're only 3.5's; that won't sound right.....wrong! These are incredible, clean, crisp, and they absolutely scream; also put out a little bass if you need them to.

Listen, paying high dollar for stock replacement speakers, and then getting mediocre sound running off a 50x4 (so 20rms to each speaker) head unit won't cut it, so you buy an amp right well that's when it gets pricey and wirey. Look at the specs, these speakers put out 20 rms max each, so, running off my cheap jvc 50x4 head unit, these speakers are getting full power.

Quality- built like rocks, they're heavier than my stock speakers and the magnets are bigger. Extremely versatile, they're only mounted with one screw in the doors. Look I'm running these with just a head unit and a sub, and it's like I'm in a theater. Amazing. If you read my review, trust me, it worked for me; don't listen to "experts." I had plenty tell me only using 3.5's will be weak.

I found a loophole: big expensive speakers and amps are a thing of the past. I recommend running what I have (4 of these, 10" sub and a mono amp) to power it along with any 50x4 head unit.

sound good

The following review is for a previous version (11KS35).

I have these combined with the Kicker KS693 and it's a good combo. They sound good for a small speaker. I'd recommend going to the 4" though if you can squeeze them in.

Better then I thought

The following review is for a previous version (11KS35).

I didn't think these 3-1/2" would sound as clear and hit as hard as they do. From looking at others, I thought the bass wouldn't be good. The have clear noise and good bass. I would recommend these to anyone who needs 3-1/2"s. I used these to replace my stock Delco ones in my 94' Cutlass Ciera.

Sound good, but a little tricky to install.

The following review is for a previous version (11KS35).

I would recommend the speakers, but if you're putting them in the dash of a jeep gc, you need to do a little online research to make sure you know what is involved. It takes a little soldering work to get it to fit. But they do fit well eventually.

amazing

The following review is for a previous version (11KS35).

these speakers were very easy to install. They bring out my dash speakers amazingly. They were installed in my 04 dodge neon so it wasn't to hard. But kicker made it alot easier(coming with all the installation gear . Simply amazing . cant wait to get a amplifier.

They sound excellent but be careful

The following review is for a previous version (11KS35).

Great speakers for the price. I have a Dual XDMA6415 head unit 17w x 4chan. No amp is really required for these ones. I was not exactly sure if I received a defective speaker, but within 3 days of installing it blew out. Thankfully the people at Sonic Electronix are going to replace the speakers. If you are on a budget this is certainly a good start and they sound infinitely better than the factory speakers in my 1995 318i convertible.

not good at all

The following review is for a previous version (11KS35).

I bought these and installed them in the front dash in my 88 cavalier Z24. The stereo is a stock delco cd player from a 92 buick park ave. They started crackling a week and a half after installation. It looks like it couldn't handle the bass? The stock speakers were fine after 26 years and these blew that quick? Its not even that loud. Very disappointed. Aren't new speakers supposed to be better then this?

Great Product

The following review is for a previous version (08KS350).

I ordered these for my girlfriend's car to replace the front factory speakers. They produce a lot more bass and treble than the factory speakers ever did. They are powered by a head unit at 20w rms and are often blasted at high volume levels. Thus in my experience they can take some abuse. The speaker itself seems to be constructed of quality materials and comes with wire to hook them up.

The highs are sharp so those looking for smoother high frequencies might want to consider speakers with soft dome tweeters.

Good deal!

The following review is for a previous version (08KS350).

Bought these to go with my Kicker KS6930 6-9's and they sound great. Good deal, and free shipping in the US. They arrived extremely early and are still sounding great. The email I got that wanted this review says I bought them 6 months ago, and I haven't had any trouble out of either set of speakers. Would recommend these to anyone who like lound clear sounding high end speakers.

I would definately recommend these speakers. You can tell when you get them the high quality materials that are used. I have them in the stock boxes that have 4 inch radiators on them. They sound awesome.

Don't Underestimate 3 ½’s

The following review is for a previous version (05KS35).

People tend to forget how important dash speakers can be. I have those thing installed in the dash board of my 04 Dodge Durango. The difference in my music is like night and day. They bring a rich addition of depth to my components. I believe in order for you to get the best out of these 3 ½ speakers, you should add bass blocker so that you can get pure voice and no bass out of these things, in addition prevent distortion. Believe me, this could be the best $40 dollars you spend on 3 ½ speakers. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THESE SPEAKERS!!!!!!!!!

Can't go wrong with Kicker

The following review is for a previous version (05KS35).

I have these installed in my 1986 Buick Regal and they sound great. I was a little hesitant when getting these but once you hear them you'll be a Kicker junkie too. The Highs are crisp and clear no need for any more tweeters and the vocals come out clean and with no distortion at high levels and i have them hooked to a 800w Hifonics amp. They are the best and you cant beat the price.

kicker dash speakers

I bought these speakers to install in my 06 ram 3500. I'm still collecting components for the install. I'm pleased they shipped right to my house quickly with no signature required.

Sound great!

Installed these in the dash of my 1999 Dodge Ram Van. Replaced factory units as one was not working. They sound so much better. I also put in two sets of PPI 6x9s and they sound good together. An amp would really bring them all to life.
