great sound

The speakers that I ordered sounded a whole lot better than I expected. I was going to put an amp on the speakers but when I played them no amp was needed

dont buy

fits my car fine, had to do a little custom modifying but fit in good. had them in for about 2 months and one blew out already. if possible for your application i would buy the 6X9 conversion kit and buy better speakers

i bought theseto go in my Yukon and they sound GREAT. I would recommend these to anyone. These are great for bass and definitely hit hard for their size!

Kicker got it right!

To be honest I was pleasantly surprised to find that Kicker has finally entered the world of component speakers. I bought a set of these for my 88 Fiero GT from SonicElectronix.com to replace the tired stock speakers in my dash.
For a set of 4x10s these speakers actually attempt to reproduce bass and do it better than most any other 4x10 out on the market today. As far as the tweeters concerned they're right on par, creating a nice separation of sound with little very little distortion.
My only real complaint with these speakers is that the baskets are just a standard steel stamp, and personally, I'm not a huge fan of plastic cone speakers. But Kicker has done a good job of making the best possible sound quality using these materials and I would recommend this product to anyone who is looking for a good component speaker in this size.

Since I have only listened to the with a sub, I cannot tell the bass, but these Kickers definitely are clear, and are not that expensive, definitely recommend if youre stuck with needing 4x10s

4x10's Hard to find

I have a factory original 86 Pontiac Fiero GT with less than 3000 miles. The factory speakers in the dash had dried out and pulled away from the frame. I had great difficulty finding 4x10's and certainly difficult at a price I could afford. I was also concerned about the amount of ohms, not wanting to overload the original radio. I found Kickers to be right size, right sound, right price, right quality, and Sonic to be a fast, good company to deal with. I will definately use them again.

Excellent sound and design, hard to find size 4x10 for a truck am very pleased with the product.

Good value, not spectacular

These speakers have a nice sound, and the base response is actually quite good. The cone material for the woofer is a thin vinyl material, and feels flimsy. Also, the sound quality isn't quite as nice as some other 2 way speakers for this size. I have used these for several months now, and so far they have held up perfectly.

fantastic quality from kicker

i currently run 3 ks4100 series speakers of a sony xplod headunit in my 1979 gmc k2500 and i really kick in the lows with 2 kicker comp c10's runnin on a 08300zx kicker mono class d amp and the all around soundquality is superb i would definately recommend these speakers to anyone looking for a high quality 4x10

Great value and product

Excellent product for the value and it being one of only 4 sets of speakers to fit my 1982 Monte Carlo.

good speaker for replacement in rear of suburban.

speaker was a direct replacement for factory speaker sounds much better.
Kicker speakers are very good for the money have them in my street rod.
