Great value, great product

Using as a replacement for factory 4" 79-93 Saab 900 dash speakers. They sound great, and don't flinch when I turn them up with my 55W/channel Sony head unit. Bass doesn't 'thump', but they're 4" speakers...(I don't know of any 4: speakers that "thump".) I plan to put a sub in my trunk and divert the low frequencies there eventually.

These little guys are awesome. The magnets are HUGE. I actualy had to fight when installing them to keep the magnets from jumping to the metal of the door. The speakers are well constructed and sound awesome. Be aware that many cars will require a mounting bracket.

great sound from such a smll speaker.....gets LOUD!

Using these in a 3" to 4" PVC elbow w/ spacer speaker tube on my motorcycle with a Kenwood KAC-1502 running them. I have my iPod for music. Sounds great for a 4" speaker (even good bass for a 4" speaker). I put a port on the PVC as well with a plug I can put in/take out. Looks kind of gaudy up on the bars. But, the sound outweighs that in my opinion.

Great replacement 4" speaker. Didnt expect much from such a small speaker, but these are much better than I expected!

Good sound great value

Needed a stock size replacement for my 4Runner's in-dash speakers. These had the best materials for the price and I still like the way they sound for 4" speakers; They give about as much quality sound as you can expect for a speaker that size. Extremely easy to install, did it myself.

Big things DO come in small packages!!!

I purchased these speakers to replace the 4" speakers in my boat, thinking that I'd get my $'s worth if they lasted a couple of years in a marine environment. These speakers are phenomenal!! They are a perfect front stage speaker (w crystal clear highs) for a system with either a sub or larger rear speakers. I decided to isolate these speakers (hooked up to deck pwr) from my system to believe my ears and wow, they sounded like a 6 1/2" speakers!!! I wouldn't buy any other 4" speaker after owning these.

Very surprised!

I ordered these speakers because they were cheap and my front speakers were blown out. I wasen't really expecting to much. But i am VERY happy with them. The highs are amazing, and the mids sound good. And they get pretty loud to.

I've had them for about a year now, and the only thing is one of them started to crackle at high volume but stopped doing it recently. I think its because they got wet being where they are located in my door.

Overall I'm very happy with them, and would recommend them to anyone looking to replace their stock 4" Speakers.

Good for the price

I bought a pair of these to replace the rear deck speakers in my '94 SC400 as the stock pioneers stopped working. For the price these kickers are a good deal. Being 4" speakers, don't expect booming bass from these (I have a Rockford P3 for that). The bass is what you can expect from a 4" speaker nothing more, nothing less. Where these speakers REALLY shine is in the clarity of the mid and high range frequencies. I produce and engineer music and wow...These speakers are CLEAN in those ranges. Unlike some cheaply made speakers that are brittle and harsh in the highs and sloppy in the mids, these are just SMOOTH as can be. I can set a HPF @ 80-100hz on these and they don't distort at high volume. Most 4" speakers i would set HPF around 120-140hz. But these kickers handle the extra low frequencies no problem. For the price and being 4" you can't go wrong with these.
