I have two of these in 1.24 cu ft per sub box in a regular cab truck powered by a RF 1000.1bdcp. There getting 1550 watts rms. These subs and the RF amp are a monster combo!

Great value

I didn't think needed a 2nd sub but wanted better mid bass this is the few sub that goes over 250hz. It's paired with an Alpine R 12 so I can switch back and compare. It's in a portend box made for it. Sonic had the package around $300 not bad. Getting a box made for the speaker was the deal maker. Closed may have been better for size but nice to try a ported. This is the only speaker I would ever consider from Kicker. Earth shattering maybe not. I'm not pushing it too hard. Tight and crisp maybe not in the ported box but nice enrichment yes. Could be your only sub and you would be happy.

I always been a kicker fan and always will be because of the L7s if you ask me best bass speaker money can buy also the box couldn't get no better this is what I call a big deal when you you are getting the same brand especially these awesome square kickers
