Worth it and then some...
I owned an L7 back in the day and it was great. Tried all kinds of other brands, when I was thinking about a solo x but was worried it was too much like an L7, wrong! Its in the recommended ported enclosure with a jp23. The gut rumble bass is remembered was back and then some. Ok, easy for hip hop, what about rock and a bass drum??? Put on some double bass tracks and it freakin kept up without slop. Ok, 2 for 2 so far....jazz? Yup, a stand up bass sounded great. I dont compete, dont have 10 battery's and 2 alternators etc..over kill? Sure, but so worth it.
