The RS line

Ok after stupidly hitting the back button and closing a lengthy review of these speakers I am going to simplify the post.

Ive owned the ds line, ks line, and now the rs line. Im not a kicker fanboy nor do I hate the clearwater company, I've just always found a good value from kicker products when I was purchasing. I am trying to be objective as possible.

The midbass is solid, feeling heavy and sporting a silicone covering to prevent water damage. The tweeter is also of a solid feel and with some depth as well. The crossover is made from quality components and can be displayed thanks to the transparent covering.

The set was tested from a 50w rms 32bit dsp home stereo source. I tested the set on hip hop first and was amazed by the midbass from the 6.5 and the response range. Put on and No Hands sounded great and the tweeter kept right up with the midbass. Next came some John Mayer, Half of My Heart, which sounded so clean. I had thought the midbass would not be able to play subtle and distinguishable but I was wrong and the tweeter had me thinking I was in the cafe for a live performance. Finally, I played Diary of Jane to see how it would do with a more rock orientated song, and found the best of both worlds. The midbass was punchy and quick while the tweeter never gave me a sign of shrill highs.

All in all the RS line is a great speaker, and can be had for a good value from sonic ;). I would gladly purchase these speakers again, if I was not already planning to buy the qs line.

great speakers

So I've owned the is set in.my first Car and then my knew car came with Bose. I was in sure about doing the rs 6.5 since the Bose sound good. Lol but the rs once installed was much better and a fuller sound. As if your at the concert. Very nice.
