kicker L3 12" subs

Have great sound quality and can take plenty of power. They are a bit of a space consumer but if youre looking for a concert bass and quality for a good price these are a great option.

Best Bang For the Buck

Awesome speaker! Speaker only gets better and better after break in period. Definitely recommend this product. I also recommend using sonic electronix for purchase. They deliver on time all the time but best of all are they're unbeatable price.

wow

Had two 15 Rockford Fosgate subs and these are amazing. Slam like you wouldn't believe. I highly recommend the subwoofers 2ne1 that wants a high quality subwoofer. I have these subwoofers hooked up to A 1500 watt Kicker amp and it sounds amazing.

"Still Kicking"

Its been almost two years now and this sub is still kicking out solid bass got this L3 powered since day one by an Alpine M-500 both have been working flawlessly. From what I've heard the L3 is no longer in production, get one or two before there gone I don't think you'll be disappointed great SPL and SQ for a square sub at this price point. I've owned Comps, CVR's and now this L3 never had a fail.

I know what you're thinking...

I know what you're thinking, how can a $99 sub be worthy to put in my ride. I want real bass that is loud and low. Well my friends, I had the same apprehensions, but with a limitied budget I decided to believe in the Kicker name and boy am I glad I did. Now to be fair, I did purchase this sub in the single, ported Kicker enclosure. It appears as though they do not sell the L3 version through Sonic anymore and its a shame because this thing is AWESOME!!!

I have mine powered by a 500x1 Kicker Mono Amp and it is the perfect pairing. The bass is responsive and kicks incredibly hard for what it is... In all fairness it does have a threshold and will distort if you put too much power to it. But trust me the sub is loud enough to be heard throughout a city block. It won't rattle the roof of your car, but it will vibrate the hell out of your trunk/hatchback. I have had it installed in my 2007 4Runner for about a year now and it still sounds amazing. My only desire to upgrade stems from my curiosity to see what an L7 would sound like in the same enclosure. I bet it ROCKS.

This kicker kicks

I had a JL Audio 10w3v3 for about a year and loved it for its sound quality and decent SPL but I replaced it with this sub hoping for a little more kick and I DEFINITELY got it. The sub is so loud in my ported box and is somehow actually cleaner sounding than my 10w3v3. This subwoofer is so worth the money especially at this very low price

Pretty Reliable So Far

I have owned a pair of these for over a year now. They haven't shown any weakness yet. I have them in a pro box between bucket seats in a 1984 flatbed. The loudest flatbed in kansas. This is the first kicker product i have owned. I will recommend them to people.

ooooo dang

I actually own 2 of the L5s but looking at the specs these arent much different. i'm running mine off a kenwood KAC 9152 D 900 rms amp at 2 ohms in a kicker box design. i bought mine to knock my brother in laws system outta the park and these did it. busted the mirror off my windshield, broke the latches on my glove box and center console, spider webbed a rock chip on my windshield and rattled the rear hatch so hard my rear windshield wiper was bouncing almost an inch off the door. its only a couple hundred watts difference between these 2 but the kicker quality is unmatched. i used to be a fosgate fan til i got this set up. just make sure you put some time and money into your box, or else you'll be stuck in the 40 to 60 hz range. BUY KICKER

Very Good Subwoofer.

Kicker L3 Was a good choice. This was my 2nd subwoofer and it was sure worth the price. Long as you power it well, youll have it forever. I have owned it since May.

Go Kicker !

Finely got my hands on one of these SoloBaric L3 12" sub beautiful piece of work out the box was impressed by the build quality. Got this sub hooked up to an Alpine M500 mono amp perfect match because DANG !!! This L3 sub sounds sooo good very smooth impressive deep bass response an very linear excursion excellent sound quality even though the power rating on this sub is the same as the CVR 12", the L3 is definitely a step up if you got the few extra clams to spend go for it ! I dont even think i will ever go back to CVR's as long as the L3 is around. I gave the L3 3 stars for durability only because i havnt owned it long enough to comment on it. But keep this in mind i have owned kicker subs since the early 90's and i never had one fail. Just dont go way over the RMS and you should be fine.

Decent Subwoofer

I purchased to of these subs along with a ported sonic box they sounded good but they can not handle anything over 300 watts rms. But they do sound good at moderate levels
