Rolling the dice

The following review is for a previous version (10ZX350.4).

This amp sounds great when the car is not running. It sounds awesome and pushed my Kicker KS69's very well. However, it produced engine noise when the car was running. I used top quality connections and had it professionally installed by an authorized Kicker retailer / installer. Kicker acknowledges this issue and sent a list of fixes to their dealers, but none worked. I do not understand why they would continue to make/sell these with this known condition. Kicker is better than that. Anyway, I know not all vehicles will have an issue with this, and if you are willing to take a chance, you may end up with a nice amp. However there are other options out there. I exchange mine for the JBL GTO504, and the JBL sounds better.

Features a plus economics a must

The following review is for a previous version (10ZX350.4).

I would definitely recommend this amp from what I see so far. Even though I plan on changing my factory radio down the line it's giving me the range I wanted with the clarity I needed without breaking my pockets.

Great Amp

The following review is for a previous version (10ZX350.4).

I got this amp to replace the same one that got stolen from my truck, but when I came to order it from Sonic Electronix it was half the price the local audio shops where selling it for. So I got a great deal and the same great amp from kicker. I have it hooked up with four 6"x9" kicker speakers and they sound loud and clear even whit my kicker 12" pounding in the back. Kicker is a great product that I loved for years and Sonic Electronix has the great products, so you can go wrong whit that.

Good Deal

The following review is for a previous version (10ZX350.4).

Would def. recommend, Kicker amps are high quality & typically high price tags. This is a good deal on a very versatile amp.

zx 350.4

The following review is for a previous version (10ZX350.4).

Worked great when I got it for about 8 months then would randomly go into protect mode and if you let it sit it would sometimes come back out of it but if u tapped it it would come back on then about 9 months later the left front channel started cutting in and out about 2 weeks after this started occuring i got the mysterious blue smoke and then no more front speakers which was a bummer.

Loud & Clear!

The following review is for a previous version (10ZX350.4).

This amp replaced a old off brand amp, and what a difference, I have it powering orion hcca 5.2 components and 2 sets of Kicker KS525 In a 2003 ford focus, i build a wall to mount the kicker speakers in and its LOUD, it sounds like i have a Clear PA outside my car, but its all coming from the inside. The only con that i can tell is that engine whine could be a problem, if i switch around my RCA's i have engine whine, but i found that for some reason the RCA's have to be a certain way not to have this annoying whine.

Awesome Clear Amp But Warm

The following review is for a previous version (08ZX350.4).

I bought this amp to run Kicker KS60.2 & Kicker KS650.2. I ran the amp at 2 Ohms for these sets and found it was crystal clear. I found after about 25-40 mins of 90-100% loud playing, the amp had to turn it self off to cool down for about 5 mins. So therefore i was overpowering the amp and understand i was using above its capabilities. Only thing i would recommend is getter a bigger amp to run them correctly at 4 Ohms. Still no distortion and great quality in the 65-90% range of volume with out the amp needing cooling at 2 Ohms.

This Amp makes my system So loud

The following review is for a previous version (10ZX350.4).

I went down to my local speaker shop and bought this Kicker amp. It looks small but its a real 350 watts ..no cutting it in half and the sound is unreAL
I GOT Infinity Reference 5030cs, AND INFINITY DASH SPEAKERS as well and I got 2 10 inch JL Audio subs and a 1200 watt Sony Xplode amp and the sound is so loud I run my **** half way down. on the trem 5/10
and bass about 7/10
well i guess whatiam trying to say is, this is a smal amp but puts out the power of a beast ...Kicker does it right
even check out the sounds on youtube .

Good product

The following review is for a previous version (10ZX350.4).

I like this amp, it's affordable and has plenty of power, even enought to push my four door speakers on one channel and a sub on the other.

okay

The following review is for a previous version (10ZX350.4).

Good amp BUT one thing that I hate is that it sends too much bass to the tweets and the tweets messed up, but other than that it's ok but I will go for the Hifonics amps. They good as hell! The only thing that kicker is good for is their subs and speakers.

Just Buy It

The following review is for a previous version (10ZX350.4).

If you are looking for a 4 channel amp for highs look no further. I have 4 Infinity Kappas and once I hooked this amp up to them they absolutely scream and are crystal clear. I don't even have the gain up halfway either. Plus its a very compact amp you can fit it pretty much anywhere. Fits under the seat easily. 2 Thumbs up!

Plenty a power

This amp has plenty of power to make my Kicker KS 6x9s and 5.25s scream. Great addition for your high end.

Nice amp

The following review is for a previous version (10ZX350.4).

I have this amp running my inside speakers and let me tell you, it's night and day from my other amp. I don't understand why others had so many problems with this amp, but I don't get feedback from my wiring in my car, but I used all stinger and I ran on the opp side so i wouldn't do that, kinda install 101, but I could have just lucked out on mine. This amp might be small, but has weight when you pick it up. My friend took the top off of his and told me it's like two amps in one. I would tell any one to buy Kicker. People tell me all the time that there subs blow all the time, but if you buy the 99.99 sub from Kicker it's not the CVXS or L7 so they can't take a lot of power and that is why they don't last.

Very Pleased

The following review is for a previous version (08ZX350.4).

I bought this amplifier because I was looking for good quality, but I was on a budget. I have previously owned Kicker subs which I love and will not ever own anything else!!! So since they were pretty much the only amp for under 200 that I heard of and that had the power output I was looking for, I purchased it. I am running 2 sets of 6.5" speakers off the first two channels at 2 ohm load @90wattsRMS, and the second two sets are bridged running a 4 ohm sub @ 175 RMS. I am very pleased with my set up! Also my birth sheet said 435watts.

Good Quality

The following review is for a previous version (08ZX350.4).

This product provide a pretty decent sound quality. The sound seems to be crystal clear and with the bass boost, it can add more bass power to your speakers. I still haven't seen any bad point about this product. Therefore, this product is truly recommended.

Have this running my Cerwin-Vega Components in the front of my car, and it sounds amazing! Had it running my Kicker speakers and it made them sound a hundred times better than the my Alpine head unit ever did! Really brings the speakers loudness up!

Re: Just right!

The following review is for a previous version (ZX350.4).

Was continually told this would be overkill for my Polk db651 & db691's, but I insisted this was the way to go. This amp is perfect for my setup. Had to measure the rear seat backing the amp would mount to: had 14" x 10" to work with. Amp fit perfectly and it was then I knew it was the right choice. The Polks handle 60 W RMS & 100 W RMS respectively ... the Kicker ZX 350.4 puts out 60 W x 4 RMS. Works out nice as the numbers are a little conservative and the db691's want the power! Sound is extremely clean at all volume levels. Definitely a good idea to get a good quality amp kit. Rewired with 10 AWG speaker wire to both pairs of Polks and went with 4 gauge power/ground wire. Probably overkill ... but didn't want any weak links whatsoever in the system.

If you're looking at this amp ... go ahead & get it. You won't be disappointed!!!

best amp for the money

The following review is for a previous version (ZX350.4).

i just bought 2 of these and installed them this week end. They work just right with any of the kicker component sets or component speakers. It is the perfect amp, not to much power but not under powered at all! this thing kicks! I am running set of ks 502's for my component set and a set of ks6930's 6x9's in the rear. I am very happy with the way they sound.

Great Amp

The following review is for a previous version (ZX350.4).

right now i have my entire sound system running off of this one amp. I have 4 alpine speakers running parallel off of the two channels, each speaker getting 45watts, and then 2 kicker comp128 subwoofers running off of the bridged bottom channels, getting 170watts. how can u beat that for the price? if you are in any doubt, buy these, and let the sound and power convince you

GREAT VOICE AMPLIFIER!!!!

The following review is for a previous version (ZX350.4).

I bought this amp to handle just my voice because im getting another amplifier for bass(ZX1000.1) and this amplifier WORKS PERFECT. I connected this amp to 4 O2(Oxygen Audio) 6" Mid-Range Speakers. I cant even put the volume all the way up because my ears start to irritate me. I recommended this amp FULLY, i don't know about having this amp for bass since i only have it for VOICE but if its great in VOICE then must be great for bass. This amplifier is heavy duty and is reliable when it comes to power, if it says 350 Watts RMS IT WILL THROW THE WHOLE 350 Watts RMS or MORE, MINE THREW OUT 415 WATTS RMS WHICH IS MORE!!!. If your looking for something that wont do little but isn't overly exaggerated in power THIS IS THE AMPLIFIER FOR YOU!

awesome

The following review is for a previous version (ZX350.4).

words cant describe how pleased i am with this amp, it puts out well over rated power is ultra clean and hardly ever gets hot, only thing to make sure is you run thick wire to it because it can get a little power hungry when you turn it up, but its definitely worth it, i have had it for over a year now and cant be happier, its been in 4 cars so far and never so much as went into protection mode, you pay for quality and if you need a 4 channel and are lookin at this dont hesitate, mine came rated at 78 watts a channel 4 ohms, dont be afraid... get good speakers so you dont blow em

Got this amp about 6 months ago and couldn't be happier with the purchase. I definitely heard the difference after I hooked this amp to my front and rear infinite speakers. The amp just made every song incredibly clear without any distortion. Just love it.

ZX350.4 Kicker amp

The following review is for a previous version (ZX350.4).

I'm using this amp to run four kicker DS693 6x9 speakers at 4 ohm load. I think it's a good combination setup. I have the crossover set to the HI setting and the crossover range at 200. I dont recomend personally using the full range setting on this amp if your going to run 6x9's or any smaller speakers for highs. MY experience wasn't very good when I blew my first set of kicker ds693 6x9's.That is why after getting another new set I have the crossover at HI pass now. It's a clean sounding great looking amp, that has never heated up on me, or shut off beacause of over heating issues .It has great features except no bass remote or subsonic filter. It also mounted real nice on my amp rack. Before using it for my 4 kicker 6x9's I used it for my two kicker comp 12's which sounded excellent, very loud and clear. I think it sounded better with this amp, than now with my new ZX300.1 kicker, sub amp. So over all its very versatile amp it can be used for lows or for highs. I have no gripes about this amp.
