Good Value and installation options.

If you are looking for a good amplifier to power a reasonable 4 channel and mono sub setup; it's a good value for the money.

You won't need an LOC either. the built in feature works well. Crossover does its job.

Powering a Solo Classic 10", MM6501's and MM6521.

Get the sub level controller. For an amp like this; Kicker really should include it as it would be what makes this amp an excellent value over just a good one.

It will run a bit warm. Make sure you have a good ground and decent ventilation to minimize this.

I would recommend it without hesitation.

Kicker Amps are the best

Lets just first start by saying that this amp was certified way more powerful than advertised. Kicker just gives you awesome power when you buy their amps. I have it running 4 Kicker components and a 12" Re Audio sub (@ 2 Ohms) in a sealed enclosure. Man does it do the job. Been running it mounted behind some interior trim pieces way in the back of my Ford Flex. Mounted it about 1/2 inch off my piece of MDF and not running a fan. Bumpin for about 6 months now and its never over heated and have had no issues period. Nothing bad to say about this amp period. Thanks Sonic. And Thank You Kicker.

Great Amp

The amp is a great 5-channel amp. It's great for the price and runs all speakers with alot more power left. Good amp and great price.

All-in-one

Purchased & instlled the 11ZX700.5. Sonic transaction was very smooth, UPS delivery on the exact day projected. Using the amp with Alpine HU, Kappa's - components in the front, coax in back doors, one 10" sub in sealed box. Sound is very good, power certs came in much higher than 700w, still dialing in the sound, between the HU & amp there are a lot of controls for configuring the sound. It's installed and I am happy with it.

Very Pleased

First off, I'm not a car audio buff so I won't be using any technical terms. Currently my Kicker ZX700.5 is pushing 4 Rockford Fosgate door speakers (2x 6 1/2's and 2x 6X9's I believe) and my RF 10" sub in '05 Maxima. In the 6 months I've had everything installed, I haven't been able to turn the volume up all the way for fear of blowing out an eardrum. The ZX700.5 pushes every component of my setup way beyond the human capacity of hearing without any distortion. It is extremely sleek and pleasing to the eye and fits my setup perfectly.

That being said, it is large so it will not hide under anyone's back car seats, although it will probably fit under the bench seats of a truck. My ZX700.5 also overheats after about an 1 hour of hard play if the rear seats are not down allowing airflow to the trunk. As long as it has airflow from the cabin, it powers through hours and hours of ear bleeding music. The overheating problem probably wouldn't be an issue if I didn't live in Florida which tends to keep my trunk at a roasty 100 degrees for most of the year. Overall it is a great looking amp that I would highly recommend.

BUYER BEWARE

If you looking for a modest lil 5 channel amp to run your system this IS NOT the amp for you... this thing is a beast !!!! I've owned 5 channel amps in the past and they were for the most part just unbalanced and under powered....This thing is monster and will beat your highs and lows to death unless you have quality components and can handle some serious power... already had to replace my subs and door speakers are next.. .make no mistake this amp far exceeds power ratings and will easily push every part of your system with lil effort... and for the price its a wonderful buy.

Large amp. Big, super clean performance! A great all in one amp with plenty of adjustment to personalize your sound preference. I'm running 2 Rockford Fosgate 6x9's up front and 2 kicker 5-1/4's in the rear doors of a full size 4 door ram truck. Also 2 kicker 10 inch subs with a custom pro box under back seats. Poly fill box makes everybody think I'm running 12's. Amp is actually rated at 936w. Kicker under promises and over performs.

ZX700.5

Good amp, I'm running 4 Kicker QS65.2 speakers and 2 Kicker CVT8.4 subs.
Wish it had a bit more power on the speaker channel through.
75wrms x4@4ohms just aint enough, wish it was close to 100.

No regrets!

This is the second Kicker 700.5 that I have owned. I have had zero problems with them. Excellent amps. Plenty of clean power!

Great value, great performance

This is an amplifier that performs well for both decent sounding mids/highs but even better sub performance.

Love the amp ZX700.5

I'm running 4x Kicker QS65.2 and 2x Kicker CVT8.4 of this amp and the sound quality is excellent, loud no but sq yes,
It thumps the 2x 8" nice and hard, it makes them sound like a single 12"
I'm very happy.

Stop looking and buy this amp!!!

I am pushing a set of mm polk components, mm coaxials, and 2 JL 12W3's. My 4runner hits so hard with so much clarity I can't wait to drive to work. (at 6 a.m. none the less) I had a JL 500 mono block running these before and it can't touch this amp. Money to value is not comparable. It was a 700 and came rated at 960 WATTS !!! Buy it!! You won't regret it I promise.

Great Affordable Amp

I bought this to power my Alpine Type-S components and coaxial's as well as a 10" Pioneer Sub. Right off the bat it was loud and clear. It even pushed the subwoofer nicely, although I would have liked a little more power. The front crossover setting controls make it easy to use and tune.

Mine came with a certificate of power rating at 971 watts. Kicker is under ratted. Great bang for the buck.

Kicker products are the best in the industry !!!

My kicker amp is crystal clear on the mids and highs . The bass is more than enough to make my car shake. In my opinion this amp is way under raited. It never overheats or shut off. For the money it can't be beat.

Loud N' Clear

I bought this amp after going through 3 other lower-grade amps within a month (it's honestly a good thing that Sonic Electronix has one of the BEST return/exchange policies on the market). Even though the power on the other amps were rated higher (80x4, 150x4, 100x4), this one amp blows them away BY FAR! Consistent, powerful, and clean sound - the best way to describe this! Kicker always under-rates their speakers. On the box it says 700W RMS, but on the Certified Power Rating Test it says 989W RMS. Yeah, it did cost a little more than the other amps, but it is well worth it in the long run AND since it is 5-Channels, you save trunk space! Honestly the best bang for the buck! Trust me, save the hassle and the return shipping costs and by this!

Great Amp

Been using this for a while now, works well no major issues. It over heated once and shut itself down, but that was about 1 hr 45 minutes into a road trip with heavy use. Haven't had any issues like that since that one time.

Did the install myself to the back side of the backseat in my 2006 Grand Prix. It was moderately challenging as this was my first 5 channel install, but once all the wires were connected and properly grounded. This amp did what it is supposed to do.

Wouldent recommend it

I have two sets of the focal ps-165, and jl c2 6.5 in the back, so a total of 6 speakers two in kick panels and 1 in each door of a crew cab pickup, from day one this amp has been cutting out and over heating. I have a rockford t1000bdcp for the bass i never have no problems with that amp but my kicker one makes my speakers sound bad, i know its not the speakers cause i went from rockford t1s to jl c5s to now the focals, i have the amp turned down all the way yet it still over heats, and shuts off, ill just stick with kicker subs.

Get This Amp!!!!!

I just hooked this amp to 2 polk components and 2 polk coax in my 99 4runner. The mono amp is pushing 2 JL 12"w3's and it is bumping!
It sound better than the JL 500/1 I had before it blew. It came rated at 960 watts!!! My neighbors do not want you to buy this amp!! It is 20" long though so prepare for mount.
