Disappointed

I usually stand by Kicker because I have their subwoofers in my car and they are great but this product really disappointed me. I was looking forward to getting this iPod alarm clock but It's just not what I expected. I am using this on my dresser by my bed and the way the screen is made you cant see it unless you look straight at it. This is a major issue because the reason I bought this was to have a bedside clock and I cant even see it from bed. When you look at it it just looks like a blank blue screen. You cant see the numbers unless you look straight on to it no matter how bright you have the display set to. The sound quality didn't impress me either. I expected more bass from kicker. It does get loud overall but I wanted more bass. Also I tried using my iPod Nano 3g 8GB with it and the sound only comes out of the left speaker. Sounds really bad with only one speaker working. Kicker says right on the box that the 3g nano is compatible but apparently not. I do have an iPod Touch 2g 8GB that works just fine and plays on both speakers. I really don't think this is worth the price and don't recommended it.

This thing is LOUD!!!

This alarm clock blew me away. I am definitely impressed with the amount of sound that comes out of this iPod dock. The interface was surprisingly simple to use and the product instruction manual is easy to read (Kicker put nice pictures and diagrams to show how to operate the dock). When i turn the volume all the way up, i can hear the music all throughout my house. The sound is always loud and clear. To make it better, it had some internal battery or memory that let me save all my settings when i unplugged it to move to a different room.

By far the best docking alarm clock for my iPod that i have used, seen, or heard!
