Works fine, but difficult to clean

The price was about 1/2 the cost of a black version, it hooked up fine, but every single time you use it, you need to vigorously clean it. I bought a smooth top, thinking it would be easy to clean. It's smooth right? Like my pans. But not this. Also, because it is white, it is much more noticeable. And sometimes, if you clean it, you will scratch it, and those stains will get embedded. I wouldn't buy it in white again. I think it was the biggest mistake as far as appliances go. The value is there only upfront, when buying. If you have a show house and don't cook, this is the one to get.

Great Downdraft Cooktop at a Very Reasonable Cost

The down draft electric cook top was very reasonably priced and is stylish. I installed the cook top myself with no difficulties. After using it for the past several months, it heats up very quickly and is fairly easy to keep clean. If I had "do-overs", I would definitely purchase it again for the $500 and recommend it to others.
