they sound great

The speakers sound great I have one in an angled ported flat box under the rear seat with a 2500 wat amp. I have friends with 2 12" speakers and just one of the kole audio sounds way better. Will definetly buy another so I have the pair.

Loudest Subwoofers

It's like you can hear me before you see me. When i'm coming, subwoofers give off a very big bang. People always ask me what's in the trunk. 15"? Naw they are 12" woofers. I love these subs the best and killing audio game. Like wow man.

Good Subs for very small spaces.

I put a pair of these subs in my 88 Chevy K1500 regular cab truck. I was suprised the bass they put out for being shallow mount subs. It was a major downgrade for me but give me just enough bass. I'm pushing 450watt RMS and 900 watt Max to each sub. My box is 49in wide-17in tall-5in deep.

When this subs is on its like having a back massage.

I know what you are thinking. But let me tell you worth every penny. Awesome sound quality. I am runnig two off an american bass ph4000. They slam. Plus they recommend seald box but i have mine in a bandpass box sounds great. Buy them while you can.

a lot of bass in not a lot of space

Works great. Limited space in my coupe and this thing hits hard and loud. I would recommend this to my friends.

They could not handle the wattage

I recently purchased a pair of these subs.I have a 2003 f150 supercrew. The stereo installers could not fit both of the subs underneath the rear seat, so I elected to install one. I picked up my vehicle at 5pm, and by 5:30 pm, the speaker was toast. I replaced the blown sub with the second sub; it too was toast within 30 after getting the vehicle out of the stereo shop. The amp that blew them is a kenwood execelon 1200 watt. I went ahead and spent the extra money and purchased two solobarics and now the system bangs hard!!!!

best speaker

I just got this speaker in the other day and started to look at the spec on the sheet that had came with the speaker and i love it . I started building box that it recomend. I have never heard a truck sub sound like that. The sub had a very deep sound and it was not broken in yet I run the sub with a PPi2100. I recommend this speaker to people that have trucks and want to save some space . I thinking of putting three more of the sub in my truck so i can have four of the MFW-12.

u need a big amp... very big . like 2500 rms big. power hungry subs. takes 1000 rms like its nothin!
