Really Powerful Amp for the price

I just installed this amp with 2 12" Crunch GPV12D4. When I finally got everything installed correctly it sounded amazing. I love the frequency ranges on the Subsonic and Low pass filters they were very easy to set the range I wanted for my sub's. While installing this amp I made the dumbest mistake ever in my history of hooking up systems. Pretty much every amp I've owned always has the + connection to the left then the remote then the - connection. This amp has the - connection to the left then the remote then the + connection. I really thought I messed something up when I first hooked everything up. I've never had an amp blow all its fuses. So I thought it was the anl fuse by my battery. Which I found out was only 50amps and should be 100amp cuz I have a kicker CK4 wiring kit. So after I replaced all the fuses in the amp and tried once again I finally blew the 50amp anl so I put in a 80amp anl. Replaced all the fuses in the amp once again and they all blew. Finally I realized that the positive and negative wires on the amp were switched. I really hope they make a protection mode for dummies like me who get the + and - switched by accident. Once installed correctly everything seemed to be working great. I noticed this amp ran kinda hot after being on for a short amount of time but doesn't seem to be too hot. Although after riding around for 30 mins testing everything out the amp protection light came on as I was pulling in my driveway. I turned my cd player off then on again and everything was fine. I think it was the thermal protection. So this amp might need a cooling fan. I also have a 2 farad capacitor that I haven't added yet. The light's didn't seem to dim barely at all but the power was there.

horrible

This amp is cheaap for a reason. I put it up to 2 10" Type R's at 1 ohm and they barely moved, hooked up a Rockford Fosgate P300-2 channel and wow. Cheap car audio is cheap for a reason.

Perfect

You can only get between 1000-1100 watts RMS out of this amp, but for $99 and free shipping it's hard to beat. Pushes my single Power Acoustik P2-10w to it's limit without even trying.

I Love it

The amp is powering a Kicker VCVR122 and it never heats up, even running at full blast for hours.

worth it

For its size this amp is well worth its price cause I had this amp n still have this amp for 2 years now. I'm ready to upgrade cause I bought subs bigger than what I had. When the summer time comes(Sacramento) it might over heat which all amps do living in Cali you get weather 110degrees everyday unless you have a fan but when it does over heat it shuts off before blowing your amp but for its size you'll be surprised.

solid amp for the price

I bought this amp 6 months ago and its working pretty well I metered it at 1050 watts rms at 1 ohm which is pretty good for spending less than $100 I have it pushing 2 15 inch kicker cvrs and it bounces my wiper blades off my windshield. I would definitely recommend this amp for an upper entry level setup

good for the money!

Worked fine but was NOT the correct stated rms. I already knew this before i bought this from reading the past reviews, but i would say 500 rms at 2ohm, maybe less im not really sure. Had this hooked up to an RE sex15d4, im going to switch to an Infinity Reference 1600A soon.

For the price, its good!

For the price, I will not complain! Yeah, its way over rated. But for 75 bucks, its pretty damn good! I'm thinking its still putting out 700-800 watts @ 1 ohm. It does run on the warm side, without heat sinks, I'd imagine alot of amps would. I installed with a 1" gap under it to get good airflow, and have had no problems! Have it running a single 12" 2 ohm Alpine type R, AWESOME!

Not even close to 1800Watts!

You get what you pay for. This one is insanely overrated. Makes me wonder if it is even hitting 600w RMS at 1 ohm since the fuse rating is 90A and its a Class AB. From hearing this amp at max power, I'd say its no more than about 600 to 700w RMS into 1 Ohms and running a bit hot too. An already poorly effecient Class AB and high heat is a bad formula! Lanzar failed to respond when questioned about it, so go figure. I sure miss the old Lanzar.

Good lil amp for the price

My bro got a Fi Q 12 d2 and he needed a 1 ohm stable amp for it. I had money so I pretty much bought this amp to let him borrow it until a got another sub. I can say this amp surprised me. Its not as big as it looks in the pics on here. When I took the amp out the box the first thing I did was flip it over and took the screws out the back to see what kinda guts this thing had. Right after taking the back off I knew for a fact it wasn't going to push true 1800w RMS into my bros sub. @ 1 ohm. I'd say this amp pushes around 1000w RMS @ 1 ohms which isn't bad at all. However after bumping for about 20 minutes the amp does get hot not just warm I mean HOT! lol If your looking for a amp for a single 12 or something to push your sub(s) get this amp. All in all 70 bucks for true 1000w RMS isn't bad.

You get what you pay for-and you're not paying that much.

There is a reason Lanzar isn't a name brand when it comes to car audio. Rated outputs of this amp are extremely generous. Only buy this amp if you are on a tight budget and interested in entry level equipment.

Perfect !

I was a little iffy to buy this amp at first since it was so cheap and a lanzar, but I am so glad I did! This thing overpowers my 2 12" Kicker CVR's! Great product I'd recommend to anyone who's hesitant about this amp.

Not a Class D besides being overrated!!!

Firstly, I knew this amp was overrated and even at 4 ohms, barely made it to 400w RMS. I don't know how the other guys are saying this amp is 1000w RMS real power, blah blah but in actual fact it puts out about 500w RMS into 2 ohms and about 700w RMS into 1 ohms. This is so much cheaper than alot of higher end Class D amps that output about half of this amp's wattage. Gone are the days of the old school Optidrive, etc. When Lanzar was REALLY Lanzar :(. Must be a desperate effort to keep up with China products, sadly.
