With hip hop music it doesn't sound good with the low pass filter dial past half way (approx 100hz cutoff). I'm running 2x 2 ohm DVC 12" 1400 watt peak subs and to me it didn't hit hard enough @ 2 ohm, so i was forced to wire it up @ .5 ohm which according to the documentation is unstable...now i am happy with the bass and it hits hard! You will need to be running at least @ 1 ohm to be happy with this one.
