get what you pay for

This sub just wasnt up to par with what i expected. probably some of my own fault. it was just a temp sub anyways. Now im building an all kicker system, and of course buying it all through Sonic. Good prices, fast and usually free shipping.

awesome

All i gotta say...
2 of these, on a 2000 watt amp, and 2 of their big daddy 15s on 2 2000 watt amps.
amazing.

worth it

worth the money spent, wire terminals are pretty poor like other reviews mention, only cause you need an allen key( included) to clamp wires and the markings for pos and neg are painted in the key slot making potential for fading if overused. i listen to a lot of metal music of all sub genres and these hit really hard with breakdown bass drops and double kick blast beats. i occasionally listen to hiphop/rap and dubstep/trance/house music when im in the mood for a little more melodic and rythmic bass and not a wall of sound.

Not So Good

I bought it and it stoped working after 1 week of what i would call light use.

Decent

I bought two of these originally about a year ago, they worked well and hit very hard at 500w RMS each (both paralleled to 2ohm and then paralleled down to 1ohm on a mono amp)

However, about a month ago one of them started rattling as the magnet coil inside started to unravel and then blew one of the voice coils, after that voicecoil blew it caused the second sub to blow one of its own coils. I replaced the originally blown subwoofer and ran it solo at 2ohms for two hours before the coil inside the magnet unraveled on it, not to mention the basket was bent around the lip. I had to return this one (and pay for my own shipping....) and so far the fourth one is working alright, I still have to replace my other with only one working voice coil.

Bottom line, when they work they sound great and hit hard, but I would advise warming them up for a bit and not running them full blast immediately out of the box

Btw, worst terminal design ever

I have 3 of these in my 05 pathfinder on a 3000 watt amp and let me tell you hits hard and crisp the top of my truck swells out when the bass hits.

Good sub.

I got this over a week ago and its great. It hits so clean, and shakes everything. I love it. It's so cheap I am thinking about adding 2 more and running 3 10's!

Lanzar

It's a decent subwoofer i had it in a ported 1.35 sqft box and a Rockford fosgate 500-1 amp. I was pushing 500 rms and it handled it. Would probably sound better in a sealed box as the bass lagged. It's not really the max watts it says of course. It's good or the price I would recommend it for starters. The terminals for the coils could have been made simpler too.

Great Product!

Loud smooth bass, I was able to put it sideways in my trunk unlike my previous sub (09 Mustang) and it no longer rattles the trunk so all is smooth
WORTH BUYING

Lanzar VW10D

This is a good inexpensive subwoofer. I used one in a large sedan w/ a sealed enclosure. Very Musical!

Good Buy!!!

This Lanzar sub does pound pretty hard, and it does have extremely good sound. Compared to other subs around this price range, and even one hundred dollars more it beats them all. It does handle high amounts of power for a very long time, I played it loud and hard for over two hours any way.

Not reccomended

I had purchased this subwoofer along with lanzar 800w amp. After 3 months the voice coil went out and the subwoofer never once did was cranked or anything so it had failed to be a good value.
