Finally full camera control

This was so simple to install. I like the easy to use menus. Now I have total control over all 3 of my cameras and the passenger can finally watch movies while I'm driving. Great product.

Ok product

The LockPick REC is a pretty good product. The AUX input feature and back up camera feature work very well. I only gave it three stars because for some unknown reason it causes the passenger air bag light and warning chime to randomly go off. This can get pretty annoying especially on long road trips. Unfortunately all I do in the vehicle this is installed in is do long road trips. One would think that for almost three hundred dollars they would figure out why it does that and fix the issue. As far as the install goes it's pretty much plug and play.

Eh

Awfully expensive for something that doesn't control the iPod, doesn't come with an iPod cable and is kind of flakey. Inputting addresses into the rec while moving works, because the lockpick tells the nav it isn't moving. So you can't navigate till you double click the power button again. If you're in iPod mode and want to turn on the rear camera, you have to go to a different input, activate the camera, then go back to iPod. If you are in sat/fm and activate the rear camera, then go back, you lose display until you restart the nav unit again. That said, it does work with iPods before the lightning connector, and may work (without video) for those with a adapter. Also, the main reason I bought it, it adds and activates the rear camera input very well. Point in its favor is that unlike some units, you don't have to wait for the unit to fully boot up before it displays the rear camera, it's available almost as soon as you start the car.
