About to own soon!

Well I originally ordered the earlier version of this sub, the MA120QS, but I guess Sonic Electronix did a free upgrade or something, because when I checked my Order Tracking...it popped up with this newer version...I really don\'t mind due to the fact that the newer models are made with better quality materials. My experience with these: my friend had one in his single cab truck, hit the lows well, also the sound quality wasn\'t bad at all, I think it will provide plenty of bang in my single cab S-10, my stock speakers already rattle my mirror......

Good sub

The following review is for a previous version (MA120QS).

Good subs, after wearing them in and gettin my amp fine tuned these things will bump, they sound pretty good and for the price they cant be beat. The only thing i was upset about was that the screws needed to screw the subs into the box werent included in the box, came with a neat ma audio hanky tho. I would have to say buy these subs if youre on a budget but still want really good sound.

Great Product

Well have one of these in my Chevy S-10 single-cab, and it pounds, im pushing around 600 watts RMS into this sub and I am getting absolutely no distortion or anything...BTW, these are rated at 300 watts RMS, so if I'm pushing 300 watts RMS over the rated stats, THIS IS A GOOD SUB!!! My car is falling apart though....So I am most likely going to buy some Dynamat...

not bad

I got this sub a few days ago and hooked it up along with my 12 inch Alpine type e in a ported box and i have to say for the price the sub is okay..the high frequencies that come out are nice but the lows just don't cut it for me. I would rather go with a Alpine like I have its around the same price and it pounds better than one of these

Great Subs!!!

The following review is for a previous version (MA120QS).

Purchased 2 of these subs with the HK400D and it is a perfect match. If you are looking for budget or for non budget these subs are good.

Great Subwoofer

The following review is for a previous version (MA120QS).

I strongly recommend this subwoofer. I own Two of them, being pushed by a Pheonix Gold R5.0:1 Amp, They make my windshield Almost jump out of my extended cab Ranger. I have won many street side competitions with these.

The following review is for a previous version (MA120QS).

I ordered these subs and I'm very happy with the performance and the price. You can go wrong with them if you're on a budget. Bass is very clear and deep.

Great subs! Thump hard!

The following review is for a previous version (MA120QS).

These subs thump hard.. idk how else to say it! I have 2 of these hooked up to a 400w class D mono amp in a closed, non-ported box.. and they bump! My friend had 2 MTX Audio 12" subs 600max... and mine hit way louder, he even said it and paid like almost 3x the price I did. These are great subs, and for the price, you can't beat it.. they compete very well with the high priced subs anytime. Turns heads everywhere I go. Best buy right here.

Great bass for a great price!

The following review is for a previous version (MA120QS).

First off, these subs are pounding! I have 2 of these subs, and they are amazingly loud! I would recommend these subs to anybody that has a low budget and still wants a great amount of bass! I compare these subs to JL Audio W3's, except they are alot cheaper in price!

Sick

The following review is for a previous version (MA120QS).

My friend has 1200 watts and this sub powered with 400 watts, 200 rms, sounds almost as loud but 10 times clearer and crisper. I only bought one because my ride is more of a screamer but if you were to buy a pair of these it they can definitely compete. Hits most frequencies from 39-250 and has a nice kick.

Outstanding for a paultry price......

The following review is for a previous version (MA120QS).

Let me first say that I have worked as an installer and have been in and around car audio since the late 80's so I'm not all that easily impressed. Having said that, I just put 2 of these in the cab of my standard cab GMC pickup. I am only putting 180 watts to each sub right now and let me tell ya right now they hit VERY hard even for the amount of power that is on them. They should be fairly ridiculous once I put the MA Audio 800 watt mono amp on them. Do not let the price fool you. Unless you plan to compete in the car audio major leagues, these are all you'll ever need to bang the heck out of your ride. Go ahead.....it's a safe buy.
