Great Sound for Price
These speakers have the best overall sound I have ever heard in this size speaker. The specs say this speaker responds to frequency from 55hz all the way to 22khz. These speakers are currently in a compact car which helps to increase the bass that these speakers produce. These speakers by no means produce a pounding bass. However, they do clearly recreate the bass sounds that so many other speakers of this size muffle or do not reproduce at all. Also, the tweeters do an excellent job of recreating the high treble notes.
