Nice package, quality wire but could more end connectors for the larger wire.

It's exactly what you need for your car amp installation. I bought this kit with Kenwood KAC-1502S amp for 75 bucks. Good deal from Sonic Electronix.

Great kit for the cost

Very nice kit for $18.
Wire seems adequately thick. Good quality fuse (not AGU) and fuse holder. RCA's feel durable. Decent assortment of accessories. All together a solid budget kit IMO.

Don't know what the other guy is talking about.

This kit was awesome and included with my package that I bought. In comparison to others for the same price, there is simply not a comparison and the other review is just wrong on so many levels I felt compelled to write this.

The reality is there are a lot of real shoddy amp kits and wire as a whole being used in car audio in terms of cheap amp kits that have over-insulating wires and fake gauge ratings, huge amounts of aluminum, lousy RCA cables, fuse holders and other accessories. BUT and a BIG BUT, this kit excels in those areas where others fall flat on their face. I have bought a few inexpensive 8 gauge kits in my day and XScorpion, Raptor, Install Bay and others haven't even given me the 8 gauge of wire that I paid for, and in some cases gave me wire that heated up to a dangerous level due to the actual make up of the wire.

I also literally laughed when I see that the other reviewer was intending to use spade terminals to connect his amp power and ground wire... It is for the SPEAKER wire knucklehead :-). I am an installer and the smaller accessories work just fine when you use them correctly. Most amps will still work with them when used with the speaker wire. Of course one can be used for the remote wire connection to the amp and the other end with the butt connector being used to connect to the stereo. The funny thing is, if you do not need them, who cares? It is like ordering this kit for a compact car or single cab pickup. You will not use all of the power wire for these applications, so do you complain that the manufacturer gave you extra wire? That just made me laugh.

Now, onto the other accessories. The AFS fuse and holder that are included are so far superior to others in this price range and the amount of copper (albeit CCA) is much better than others in the price range. Lastly, the RCAs included are awesome for the price. I cannot find ANYTHING to complain about here for $21.99.

All in all, you will not get a better value for the money.

Good product for the price

Good wiring package, good quality fuse holder and wires, I would like more connectors on it and maybe some tube for the power wire, but overall is a good kit.

Good Purchase

I used this kit to install a 2 channel Boss amp. The quality of the pieces in this kit is five stars, but I'm giving it 4 because it is my belief that to do a clean install you need (4) 8 gauge terminals (one at the batt, one at the amp, one at ground, one at the amp), not just two. I had to spend an extra six bucks at Orchard for the extra terminals, but since the cost of the kit here at Sonic was only $20 at the time, it was still a good deal.

Good kit

Good kit for basic setups. Using it right now in my mothers system powering a simple 12. Could handle more if needed.

Pros: Handles power, Wires are HQ, More copper than rubber, Wires are good length, Fuse is HQ, Comes with lots of ties and rubbers.

I would recommend this kit to anyone who has a simple system. All around good kit.

Does a great job of powering my Rockford Fosgate 10". Doesn't feel cheap at all. Performs like it should. Consistent power and looks great! Definitely a perfect buy for a couple of 12s or 10s. Even better if your just doing a single 10/12!

This wiring kit is very good quality. Although this was my first subwoofer install, I consider myself an expert when it come any kind of stereo hookup. This kit comes with everything you will need for a professional install. I installed a MTX self contained in the rear of my 1999 Explorer Sport. This kit made eazy.

Boss 1100w amp - Great amp

Great little amps. I was absolutely blown away by the power that is produced from this little amp. I had another 1100w amp that did not produce nearly as much sound. Except that I had to return the first unit I had after about 1.5 months, it great. I have had the new unit for over three months and it works great. Great amp for the price.

Exactly what you need

Comes with everything you need, literally. Ring terminals are good quality, insulation is very good quality on the wires, fuse is good quality, currently connected 2x 600 watt Pioneer 6x9 speakers to a 450 watt amp (250RMS) with this wiring kit. Plenty of length to get from the battery to the back of my car. For 21$ this is a steal! Does its job, does it well. Highly recommend this, you won't beat this price for everything you get.

get's the job done

This amp wiring kit did the job. Fortunately there was just enough wire to make it from the trunk to the battery in our honda civic sedan. A larger vehicle may have been a problem. The kit came with almost everything I need to install a self powered subwoofer/ amp.

Good Amp

I would recommend this to all starters. I have had this amp for over six months now, power two 12's. Each 12 is rated at 300W RMS, and this amp has powered them wonderfully.

Cheap - And it is

The wire is fine, the RCA cables are fine, but the terminals they give you are worthless, not enough of the 8GA size for both ends of the wire, and there are a bunch of small ones that werent even needed.

I bought this \"Piston Subwoofer and 1TRUCK10 Box Enclosure\" for my 2002 Ford Explorer. The box fits perfectly between my third seat and rear tailgate. The subwoofer sounds great running of my Pioneer 720 amp. The subwoofer gives a great punch and sounds great within all frequencies. I am a MA Audio fan now.

Almost custom

I purchased these sub enclosures for my 93 Toyota Turbo MR2. They fit like a glove in the alloted area behind both driver's and passenger's seats. I fit them with 10" Alpine E10 subs and after tuning the graphic equalizer on my deck all I can say is what all my passengers say "WoW, those subs beat in that box"!!! Great affordable buy!

Perfect for my needs.

I needed a sub box that would fit under the rear seats of my 2009 Titan and these are the perfect fit. Great sturdy construction, quality terminal cup, and it looks good, all for much less than you would pay to the materials to build it yourself.

It's also a perfect match volume wise to the RE Audio REX10D4 10" subwoofer. Great combination. Highly recommended.

Make sure you check the cutout diameter for whichever sub you decide on. The opening on this sub box is a little large for some subs.

Excellent product for the price

I'm not running a sub or crazy rms wattage. This kit is more than adequate for my set up. 60 watt rms fronts and 80 watt rms rear speakers. The amp is 75watt rms X4. I would definitely buy this kit again for any similar set up. Plenty of length for all wires except the ground. If you are mounting the amp to the back of your rear seat and it folds down, make sure the ground is connected as close as possible the seat. Other wise the wire will prevent the seat from going all the way down. Wasn't paying attention to this. Bent the ground terminal on the amp when I folded the seat down and it hung up on the ground wire.

Nice inexpensive box, fits 10" subs. Don't mind banging it around so to speak, because it's sturdy and inexpensive. If you don't need a custom box, this is one to get.

Installed this to power a 10" sub for my e46 and all I can say is that it has transformed the sound. I would highly recommend this product especially for the value and quality.

Well Built but Not for Me

This box seems to be well built, I have not checked to see if it really is 3/4 MDF but it is MDF not particle board and the terminals are decent quality. The filler is a little on the light side and if I can get this to fit in a secondary install location I will still use it after adding 2-3 or so more inches of filler to the box I think and update this review. All in all for a box that shipped complimentary with my subwoofer purchase, I'm pretty happy with the box.

Great box Great price

I've got a 10" shallow mount pioneer in this box installed in the back of my pickup. It doesn't take up a lot of space so theirs still room for tools and groceries. Good buy

Bought this kit with the Pioneer TS-SWX251 sub/enclosure and the Kenwood KAC-1502S amp it includes more than enough cabling to run the length of the car and looks to be good quality cables.

This wiring kit was included for free with my Kenwood KAC-1502S amp that I use bridged to drive my Pioneer TS-SWX251 sub. It is a decent kit. The speaker/power wires are copper-coated aluminum which is just so-so. But it does include everything I needed to wire up my amp (fuse kit, zip ties, wire terminals, etc) and it works totally fine and I doubt I'll ever have a problem with it. So while theorhetically the wires could be higher quality, practically speaking I doubt I could ever tell.

Great wires a pain to cut

The length of all the wires was perfect for my VW gti to set up an amp. However they are a pain to cute and strip. The rubber coating is very stretchy. But they work great. I do recommend these for the price. The connectors for the ground and power wire are crap. They do not like to stay though. Once you get it then they are good.

Subwoofer enclosures

Excellent, just what I needed. These fit perfectly on the upper deck in the trunk of my recently restored 1984 Volvo 242. They are black and blended in real well. The transaction with Sonic was flawless. Fast shipping, excellent packing and great communication. I'm now looking to get two more for a system upgrade in my 944. Thanks Sonic.

Good enough

Overall, this is a decent enough kit for an amp install. Fairly run-of-the-mill kit - my main gripe is that some of the prong connectors are incorrectly sized (amp connection for ground and power wire), but all other connectors are good. Zip-ties are garbage, but that's pretty much expected as well.

Pretty basic kit, I would recommend it but based on my application I needed some larger capacity connectors than what were provided.

Great for S10 STD CAB

Great for an S10 Standard Cab! I fit two of these behind the bench seat of a 1994 s10 with no loss in leg room or space. I even managed to add a set of custom 6.5 speaker boxes behind for an ultimate soundstage. Pretty good value too! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I bought this box to install a Total Mobile Audio TMA T10s4 subwoofer into my S-10 truck. I thought the box looked to small for the speaker but it worked out great! I'm powering it with an older MTX Thunder 275 amp and I'm very happy with the way it sounds and fits in the small space that I have. It says that it's made of 1/2in MDF but the one I got was made of 5/8in MDF. Anyway, a great box for the bucks.

too shallow

It might work with some subs but not all 10s fit it. My Diamond Audio D3 was too deep to fit into it. Other than that Sonic is great and it was at my door in 4 days. The box is definitely built well. Make sure your sub fits before you order!

Decent kit

This is a decent kit for a budget stereo system. Only one issue though, I was hooking this up in a Ford expedition and wires were too short to put the amp were I wanted it. Will pay more attention to wire length next time.

Great Boxes

I put these in the back seat of an old 65 Corvair with 10" Punch's. They sound great and are holding up so far. When I bought them, I had to buy caulking to seal up the insides, but it was only $3. All in all, for $20 each, you can't go wrong.

Good starter kit.

This wiring kit is good enough for the basics if you don't want to spend more money or chase around assembling the wires you need for a basic system hookup.

Well Built, As Advertised

This kit was included with a MTX package that I ordered. It was as described and is a well made wiring kit. Installation was quite easy and delivers adequate power to my system with proper grounding.

My only complain, I drive a 1997 Buick Park Avenue, and the 17' of cable for the power line wasn't nearly long enough for my installation. As my amplifier is currently mounted in my trunk due to limited options for locating it elsewhere, I had to go to a local electronics store and purchase another length of 8ga wire, an in line fuse block to splice the connection, as well as an additional fuse to ensure the line is properly protected.

For those of you will small cars, or who chose to mount the amplifier somewhere in the cab of the vehicle, this will be more than adequate. For those with larger cars, or luxury vehicles who are mounting their amplifier on the box or in their trunk, be advised you will need more power cable.

This product is great if you want to mount your woofs in a space conscient way. My only concern is lack of ventilation. Otherwise you may drill a hole in it which makes it a near competition sounding box!

This box is good for spaces behind your seat. I wouldnt suggest putting 10's in the very rear of your car, especially with this box. The box is stronger then what you'll normally find around that price, althought I dont believe it is glue sealed as well as it could be. Overall a good buy.

truck box

As far as truck boxes go this is a nice one. Its made of thick wood. And the volume, cu feet. is much bigger than standard truck boxes. And the carpet is much nicer. And it has gold plated screw terminals.overall a +. I recomend it if you need a small box for your sub.

I bought a bundle that included these cables (1kw) along with an amp (1.5kw) and 2 subs (1.3kw). Didn't make sense to include these cables, since their recommended throughput is much lower than the other components, so I never used them. They look nice, though.

Good deal for the price!

Kit has what it says. Most of the wires are of good quality, but the remote wire could have been a tad thicker. It broke every time I tried to attach it to anything. I ended up using some leftover speaker wire to complete the job. Overall though, you can't beat the value.

2nd Kit I have Purchased, Still Can't Find a Better Deal

I had a 500 Watt amp and sub installed in my old car, and sold it with most of the wiring in it for the new owner.
I installed a new 500 watt amp in my new car with a new sub, and bought this same wiring kit as I still could not find a better deal anywhere else.
It's a simple kit, has everything you need, and makes installation of an amp/sub a breeze. Tonnes of wire length, I still have lots leftover thanks to a trunk-mounted battery. My previous car had a battery in the hood, and this kit still have plenty of length.
The RCA's are very nice, and all insulation is great quality especially for the power/ground. Ring terminals are easy to crimp, and were the perfect size for my battery terminals/main grounding junction.

Amp kit

I have bought different amp kits from other brands and wasn't satisfied with there products because of certain things.1 was price and 2 was the power amp wire where the fuse goes. Bottom line price but has a suprising power

For the price it's unbeatable. I have it mounted to the back of my single ported box equipped with a 12 inch mb quart dw1 304 subwoofer wired to 2 oms and it's powering it with ease. It is very compact and looks very clean. For 50 dollars don't be afraid to give it a shot.

Compact box, nice cubic air space, doesnt take up room

I bought 2 of these, they are really nice, saves space, and vary rare air space so my speakers deliver better frequencies

Worth the money

Best my math tells me, I am getting about 380 watts RMS out of it at conservative settings. only running 2 volt input, gained 3/4 at low input setting. Powering a Crunch 12" DVC @ 2ohms. Sealed box. hits harder than expected. I have out grown the crazy stuff, but 10yrs ago I would run 2 12's with this amp and turn heads. It has a lot of power for 50-60 bucks. In the day, I was name brand all the way, MTX, JL, RF. I am proud to pop my trunk now to show ppl where all the noise is coming from, $50 amp, and a $30 sub. Almost laughable how loud it is. Great buy in my book. Only running 8ga too....just saying may be more there yet.

This was my 1st ever amp purchase for my 1st time installing subs. I bought it cause it's cheap and it works. It does underpower my subs,but that's my fault for not studying more before purchase. Bump on a budget

I recommend for the price and function. I am running this with an older Soundstream Reference RW-10 rated : 500 rms@ 2 ohms / 1000 peak @ 2 ohms with dual 4 ohm 2.5 " voice coil. I know that the subwoofers specks might not be the best match to the sub but it pounds ( not even using bass boost).

Great Amp for the money

I would highly recommend this amp. I have it hooked up in my F150 with driving (2) Kicker 12" COMP Subs. The amp combined with the 2 Mf Cap makes these subs rock. The Bass is clear and solid with virtually no distortion. My daughter liked it so much that she asked me to install one in her GMC Serria. I am about to purchase a third to install for a guy at work.
Would I recommend this amp to a friend?....Hell yes without a second thought.

This box is well made and has a very solid feel. The cutouts word great for my sub so I suppose it will work well with most standard sized basket subwoofers on the market. I can't say more great things about it. What you see is what you get!

Alot better than I thought it would be

I installed in a single cab ranger and it nails!!! It fits perfectly between the seats line up with the arm rest. I am using a old 10" kenwood excelon and a kicker 200 watts amp. It is surprising loud and tight. I was expecting half of what i got. So far everyone thinks i have 2 subs when i only have one.

Good bang for the buck

The amp sounds amazing. Right now it's powering my 10in kicker 4 ohm in my single cab truck. But I don't like the false claims by boss. Suppose to push 413w rms at 4 ohms, but when I attached by volt metered with a 60hz tone, it only did 24 volts= 150rms or so for a 4ohm load. I cant complain though, it matches my 150w rms woofer perfect haha. The bass boost is insane. Be careful with that. Remote works good. And the best part is that this amp runs pretty cool, doesn't get hot.

Surprisingly stout amplifier

I'm using this amp to drive two Boss CXX10s at a 2-ohm load. The amp is backed by a Kinetic HC400-BLU and a Belva BB1D 1 fared capacitor. We decided to add the extra battery because the system went into an '07 Civic and their car batteries are epically small. I am very impressed with the output of this amplifier. I plan to put my clamp on it over the next few days to see what the actual output is. I was hesitant to go with this amplifier but the system was budget all the way. I will give Boss more credit in the future after this build.

I couldn't believe how good it is I have 3 12 inch subs I a box 2 at 2500 watts 1 at a 1000 all 4 ohms DVC and this thing makes them hound. I have all 3 hooked up to this thing and they hound. Amazing that's all I can say!

This solid, high proformance amp is a great deal! It maybe more than you're looking for, power-wise, but the proformance will change your mind. Rich low tones for a solo sub, put a bit of bump in your trunk.

I'm pusshing a single 10" sub ,name brand,it pushes about 40% of what it says on the amp. It sounds decent for the size but I'm happy with the purchase.

Best bang for buck

After looking around various places I found this boss amp and for the price and it's capabilities I am impressed. I had an old JL 10w6v1(10 inch sub) wanted to throw in my work truck. I have the amp mounted to the side of the box. With rubber feet between the amp and box for air flow and to keep heat down. After a month of use I've had no problems at all. I have everything at their proper levels for this one sub but it definitely has the capability to pound a couple twelves. I had my system at probably 85% volume level for almost three hours once and as the amp did get pretty warm, I've had other amps become hot to the touch in less then two. I actually recommend this amp for someone looking to add a single sub but may add another at some point. Again best bang for buck!

Good bass amp

Needed an amp to add a subwoofer to my stock system which was lacking in low end bass. I built an sealed box to fit under drivers seat with 8" subwoofer and this amp worked perfect for what I needed.

The Belva 10" subwoofer is a grate value for your buck i look at a lot of boxes be for i bought .once i seen price of the belva subwoofer box i bought two the only problem i had was my JBL subwoofers where too long i spaced out my speakers 3/4 of a inch so all ways find out the measurements first

I must say this is a very nice looking amp especially at night when the boss is lit up blue gives it a premium look but it's definitely fit for someone like me that's on a budget...
I like the warranty that boss gives along with the extended offer from Sonic Electronics low price warranty extension plan..
Bottom line I feel good with my purchase it was even recommended from their customer service agent who was assisting me with an amp I had ordered that may be on backorder due to the high demand all I had to do was give the rep the type of woofers that I have and what ohm's I planned on running them in and boom up came the Boss 1100M I'm not going to give a wattage judgement but all I can say is if you want to be a audio competition this is not for you but if you have 2 12's and run them parellel you and your passengers are going to be impressed. Great product, price, look, sound!!!

A BEAST

Acquired a R1100M on a trade for some work. I applied it to a JL Audio 10 w/dual voice coils in a 1cuft sealed enclosure. Just under peak power, it knocks my vision off when bass notes hit. Way better sound than my JBL amp bridged and the voice coils wired in series. In my opinion, anything larger in dimension is a waste of money. Well worth its price!!

I have an VMA 2700 watt 15" and put this boss 1100 watt on it. It is doing its thang making the 15 move like it's supposed to I only order from sonic

great sounding sub for the price and the small space

so i had to build a custom .65 cu ft sealed box for the back seat of a 2007 tacoma with this sub and it actually sounds great i put about a lb of polly fill and it really impressed me right out the box great sub.

It's a cable. It works.

Cables all work and ties keep everything tidy. Plenty of extra length in a Mazda 3. My 5ch amp RMS power draw with volume all the way up should be under 360w (realistically under 250 when not trying to go deaf) so this should be more than sufficient.

Pros:
Cables all sufficiently long for my installation.
Everything included made the install quick and easy.
Only 8ga so the wires aren't super stiff allowing for easy routing.

Cons:
None so far.

Other:
Hopefully never need to test the fuse 60A rating.
