Super Thump!!!
I purchased this amp to replace a 8+ year old Power Acoustic 1800 watt bridged amp that finally went out on me. I am running 2 Boss 12's (http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_23654_Boss-P126DVC.html) that i purchased here about a year ago ... in a dual 1.2 cf each sealed enclosure. you can now feel the bass waves over 20+ feet from my SUV. i even had to install 4 more satellite tweeters to bring my overhead back up since the subs now drown out my mid's & high's...
Install was easy enough, set up took a little more time due to all the different settings available w/ the cross over, input level, & bass boost to tweak it to my existing system.
only flaw i have found is the instructions suggest a 2 awg power & ground cable - this does not work! i had a 2 on my 1800 for over 7 years worked great, after 1 long trip (4-5 hours of constant use) w/ this new amp it got so hot it melted the 200 amp inline fuse holder - so i upgraded to a true 0 awg power supply wire , 250 amp heavy duty fuse block, & also added 140 amp circuit breaker in the rear 12 inches from the amp. have had no issues what so ever - no clipping, no shut off's , & no popping the fuse or breaker. For entry level/amateur competitions, or just a good loud personal system i would recommend this amp to EVERYONE...... it truly does what you would expect it to do... & im running @ 2 ohms .... thinking about re-wiring the subs kicking it down to a single ohm, & seeing what happens....

This amp is amazing, super clean power. I am reading 2018 watts so it is a little over rated but it makes up for it with how sharp and clean it is. If you want a good amp for a very good price then look no further. I have always used kicker, fosgate, jl audio but now I am definitely a MB quart amp guy. You just cannot beat the amount of power you get for so little money. Dont hesitate on buying, you will not be disappointed.
It could use some more on board cross overs and features but what can you expect for this price range.
