Bought 2 sets of these for my 01 civic a while back. They were a definite improvement over the stock speakers being driven by a Sony CDX-GT930UI and the clarity of them at low to mid volume was great. My problem was they dont handle bass very well at ALL. Try to push any legitimate bass into them and they will distort. Eventually amped the 4 of them and just seemed to make it sound loudly distorted. Recently swapped in some infinity kappa coaxes which 10x better than these. I would recommend these if you play music that isnt bass intensive and you dont listen to loud music.

Great Sound at a great price

These speakers are absolutely great. Great bass extension and accurate highs. Surprising performance, even when powered by aftermarket head unit. Add quality amps and you will be blown away. Check for clearance for tweeters as they protrude from the woofer. Great buy!

Very nice

I put these in my Corolla with no cutting.Easy to install.Sound is what you would expect w/ MB Quart "Great".

Amazing sound quality

I purchased two sets of these speakers for my '92 Honda Civic and let me tell you, they have incredible sound quality. I'm currently powering them with an Alpine CDA-9857 at 18 watts RMS and they still sound incredible. I highly recommend these.
