Good Amp, Great Power

This amps is filled with power. I had it pushing my 2 Kicker L5s. It made one of them pop when only set 3/4 way. Also love the bass knob. You wont go wrong with this amp it never cuts off or overheats.Filled with power and is made by maxxonics which makes hifonics so in reality same amp as the brutus 1600d. This amp will slam and can take the abuse. Be ready 2 make your speakers pop because it made my L5s sometimes on only 3/4s way up.

Strong, reliable, and wonderful watt per dollar value

This amp was a wonderful choice for a budget build. Just because you want something decent and reliable that puts out more than what it is rated at doesn't mean you have to buy Rockford, JL, etc. This amp put out about 1680 watts RMS at 1 ohm when examined on the oscilloscope and held up nicely doing so .Does run a little warm, but plays nice and strong.

I love this amp.

I have 3 MB Quart amps in my setup and this one powers my 2 MB Quart 12 inch subs. This amp is built like a tank and pushes my subs where I need them to be. I am running the subs at 2-OHM for 750W RMS and my system pounds. Get this amp you will not be disappointed.

A Solid Buy

This amplifier is a solid buy no matter how you look at it. At its price point, it's near impossible to beat. It puts out rated power, it's built like a tank, and it's one of Maxxsonics best products in years. In comparison to a Sundown SAZ-1500D (I did a straight swap in a head to head comparison), there was no audible difference. Overall, I am satisfied and wouldn't hesitate to buy another.

awesome!

this amp owns, i got it hooked up to two Rockford p3's and it keeps them singing like the fat lady. seems to be very efficient in the way it makes its power because my lights dont dim half as much as it did with my old amp, and my subs have more power going to them. (its been metered) definitely would recommend this to anyone who want some insane power on a budget

MB Quart DSC 1500.1D (DSC1500.1D)

I took a chance on this amp and i was amazed. It makes my 15 inch fi audio btl hit like crazy. Would recommend to any one who want alot of bass. The only thing i didn't like was the Philips head screws for the power and speaker terminal.

Great amp, great cost.

I purchased this amp, and the first one that was sent to me was defective from the factory. Sonic's was great about getting me my replacement. Now that I have a replacement, this amp is a beast! I have it on a single AudioQue 10" SDC2.5 sub wired at 2ohms. I did a 138.6 2 52hz. My system has been clamped and it was 800w on the current setup. Great amp for the cost couldn't have asked for better.

great

This amp is worth the money and time. It pushes a lot of power and is fairly cheap. This amp isn't cheaply made. Its pretty heavy and well constructed. And doesnt get hot at all after playing all day long at 2ohms. I have it wired to 4AWG wire and its very happy. Very happy with this amp!

Love this amp!

I had been looking for a newer mono amp to replace my California Profile MS600 and had recently replaced my 4 channel with their MB Quart 480 and loved it so I bought this one because I knew it would be a great addition to my sound system. If I ever need to replace it I am sure to find the current model of Mb Quart and buy it.

MB Quart DSC1500.1D

I recently bought this amp from Sonic Electronix, and it was at my home in 3 days. The amp was package very well. The amp was small and heavy and had a nice design and easy to install.
PROS
I bought this amp, because it was more efficiency then the Audiopipe AP15001D. I just wanted a amp with alot of power to push almost any subs and with some sound quality. This amp is a little stronger then my subs, but i like know i can upgrade and i still have power to back it up. Make sure you have at least the big 3 upgrade to get the most of the amp. And latter buy an extra battery. Anyway overall the amp is loud and put out rated power and very efficient, it wont get warm if you have a good electrical.

CONS
I think they could of put quality MOSFET and component for more efficiency and for long healthy life. Other then that i don't have any to say bad about it. I haven't had a problem.

I would highly recommend this amp to anyone who want power and quality sound. You don't need to buy high end amp for bass. This amp is just as good, but you save money. If you just want to be heard and have major bass, then consider buying this amp. For major bass head and competition competitor you mite want to get name brand or the MB Quart DSC2000.1D.

Rock Solid Power

Pros:

Heavy Duty Construction:
This is a solid chunk of Aluminum extrusion here (the side fins are 1/4" thick !!! ) .. as a result it does not even begin to get warm to the touch, even after hours of abuse, It literally is cold to the touch ! This means a long healthy life of beating the heck out of your subs.

Power vs $$:
So to find a high output amp in this price range, means you will be buying a china made peace of shhhh... right ??? ... wrong, A lot of new-schoolers may not have heard of MB Qaurt before , but they have been in the car audio thing for a long time and have always made quality stuff and where well known for there component speakers back in the day. As far as the power rating goes... its all there , I have already blown one of my subs with this and will be looking for 600w RMS plus subs to replace these with.

Gizmos:
Plenty of features here to play with for a Monoblock amp, you can tweak and tune to your hearts content.

Beastly Beauty:
The pictures really don't give due justice. This is a really nice looking amp, the disc arc on the front of the amp is not some crappy snap on plastic piece , its polished aluminum from what I can tell. The amp is just a sexy beast, I really like the look of my JL Amp and this is a very nice compliment to the amp collection.

Cons:

Interface:
The RJ-45 jack used to connect the sub control knob is a cheap way to go in my opinion.. I would like to see a screw in style jack used here instead.. but again your paying $200 for this amp :) , also the power and speaker terminal blocks use a philips head instead of a Hex key.. not sure why they did this but Hex is a much more resilient design than phillips in my opinion.

That is all I can really complain about, I was a bit concerned with buying this amp at first, but I am glad I did now. No regrets and I would recommend this amp to my family and friends... and certainly to you as well.

Bite the bullet and slap down the credit card.. the "old lady" will forgive you when your vibrati'n her seat with this bad boy =)

GarretDixon

This is a very nice amp for the money! I would recommend to anyone who has power hungry subs-looking for a beating. I have it pushin 2 PPI Pro 12's and it is insane how loud it is in my 4 runner. I almost cant stand it at full power. The only problem I had was it melted the wire connectors inside my box. Make sure to get high quality 1/0 gauge power and ground or you wont push a full 1500 rms. Either 10 or 8 gauge speaker wire and high quality connectors as well ! THE REASON I GIVE IT A 4 OVERALL -is sound quality not really a high end amp. it drives lows very well but falls short in the higher sub Hz.
