Don't fit without cutting metal.

The plastic basket on these it too big and bulky to fit in the rear speaker locations on my Ranger without cutting the metal behind the interior plastics.

Great sound, cheap construction

I just installed 2 pairs of these in a 2002 Ford Focus wagon and am using a small JL Audio amp to power them. They sound great compared to the factory speakers and put out a decent amount of midbass and very clear highs.

The problem I have with them is the very flimsy plastic basket that had holes that didn't quite line up with the factory location and when mounted nearly every corner cracked since it was all made of plastic.

I don't think it really makes a huge difference as they still mounted securely but I think a metal basket or at least metal mounting tabs would be a good addition to this product.
