This amp is a BEAST
Alright let me get down to it. I just got the new alpine swr-12d4 12" sub with a new enclosure. They mounted the amp perfectly and man this thing for its price and its whistles blows other amps out the water. Yeah its a maxxsonics product but German engineered. Lets call it the euro hifonics lol. I got it hooked up to 1100 watts to my sub and I'm careful to not blast it that high but its a typeR and it takes it like a BOSS.

Good Amp
I bought this amp and have been very happy with it. I was using it at first just to drive a cheap Sony sub from Wal-mart. It made that 12'' hit harder than i knew a wal-mart Sony could but it was not enough bass for me then tried 2 12'' Sony's a lot better but still not enough but not the amps fault. Finally I bought 1 Digital Designs 9512 sc and finally I almost have the bass I was looking for. Next I think I'll buy Maxx Link and another MB 1.1600 for my DD sub because with just one MB 1.1600 I am barely over the minimum recommended rms watts. This amp put out the power and looks very nice! The only thing I wish this amp had is the ability to strap.

Awesome sounding amp.Rivals my $1500 Rockford!
I'm running it at 1 ohm requiring 800 rms. Of course its way to much power but that's what I want in order to not have to use bass boost. Very clean power. Bought a Boss- weak amp so I sold it, bought a Hifonics-power was there but not clean so sold it as well. This one I think I'll be hanging on to for a while. For the price you can't go wrong in my opinion and I've seen a lot in 30 years of car audio. I'm happy I don't have to pay $1500 to get great sound anymore. I have a small problem with recessed adjustment knobs as you always need a tool but I guess that's the way most amps are these days. Not a big deal.

Good value for the money
Never had any experience with MB Quart products. Bought to power two Sundown Audio SA 8 v2. Wired to 1 ohm. Not too bad. I have not clamped the amp to check power rating but so far it seems to pushes the subs hard. AMP never gets hot. Doesn't even get warm. Just wish they came up with a better power and ground solution. One, on an angle. Straight would have been nicer. Two, 2 gauge in/out? Go try to find 2 gauge wire... Specs are good. Has a slight hum but not noticable unless you put your ear up to the subwoofer. Only had for a few months so lets see how durable it really is. Remember, it is rated for 14.4v so do the math to reach max RMS limit of your speakers.
