Nice sound

SQ subs with punch! Put in an 80l Bassworx, nice and clear sound. Not an SPL sub, but nice for listening to music.

Good for Random Brand, Bad from Mb Quart.

As a typical random brand name this would be a good sub, but coming from MB Quart this sub is disappointing. I’ve owned multiple MB quart products over the years; speakers, subs, and component speakers and this is the first I’ve been disappointing. At best this is about as good as a sony or kenwood sub. For MB Quart, a company known for quality, this 12 inch sub is sloppy and a huge step in the wrong direction. My old MQ Quart PWE-304 hit much tighter and sounds like a “big” ten. This hits well but response is extremely slow for any brand. I’ve had sony and fosgate subs that are more responsive. The only good thing about this is sub is that for 250 watts RMS it’s pretty powerful. Frequency response is terrible in comparison to the PWE-304. With My PWE I set my cross over to 100hz with a slope of 18db, or 125hz with 24db slope and it sounded fantastic. This has to be set to 80hz and 24db slope, or else it sounded like crap. For Rock music this sub is good, but if you’re listening to techno or something that hits quickly, it sounds terrible. What is even more annoying is Mb Quart normally has fantastic connections options to make installation easy and allow customers to choose the connection they want. Most of their products have multiple connection types to support the connection the customer prefers. The connections on this are crappy and can’t properly support 14 gauge wire. So install was a royal pain. Thank god this is only a temp sub, I will be buying a Kicker comVX , or something else from sonic electronix (because they are awesome) to replace this.

Good Value Great Sub!!!

Works great for boom on a budget, And to the other review comparing this to the PWE-304, your comparing a $40 sub to a $150 or more sub. If your looking for an entry level sub at an awesome price get this.

Great Sub's for the money!!!

I got a pair of these Sub's for the rear of my daughter's wagon. I also got a 1250 watt Power Acoustik amp from Sonic to power them. Well, I have to say they throw some serious noise! They boom so loud that I can hear her coming home from school! They're not super pretty, don't have a lot of bling, they just throw some wicked bass! For what they cost, you cannot lose! Buy these Sub's!

Don't run it at 2ohms
