WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

In 20 years in car audio...these are the BEST, cleanest, and most PRECISE components I've ever heard (I'm using the MB Quart Q4150 to run the tweets and the mids active, and it is phenomenal!!!!!!!!!!!!! I've only had for one day, but been in the car for 12 hours, and these are NICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm gonna save more money to buy a back up set in the future (be prepared, the tweets are HUGE, but not harsh, even active-great job Maxxsonics, and Sonic:-)ps, shipping FAST AS USUAL

Unbelievable!

While I don't consider myself the greatest reviewer, I'll do my best to share my feelings here.

From the beefy rubber surrounds, monster-sized magnets, the solid feeling tweeters, all the way to the hardware was top notch! The crossovers were the most impressive part. Nice quality gold connectors, the ability to run them active or passive is a nice feature too. Just be sure to really take a look around your car and make sure you have the space for them! They are practically the size of a VHS tape and weigh a lot. Overall the build quality is amazing. They are exactly like their German predecessor from back in the day (as they should be for the price they are).

Okay on to the sound. I've owned Polk DB, Polk DXI, Infinity Reference, JBL GTO series, and now this MB Quart QS216 model. They are all around a better speaker. The midrange is tight, precise, smooth. If you ever listened to something like Best of Santana, all the various percussion instruments really come through and don't at all sound like a cluster of unorganized noise. Bass guitars sound like bass guitars. I apologize for being so vague, It's one of those things you have to hear to believe. I guess the best way I can describe the midrange is they sound like 10 different speakers; 1 for each instrument so there is no interference between reproduction of sounds. The tweeters are my favorite part. Teteron silk so they are nice and smooth. Cymbals sound so incredibly real it will blow your mind. They snap and are bright, but not overkill either. I didn't think it was possible to have a clear snappy tweeter being played at high volumes and be left with your ears feeling fine, no ringing :-). All the other reviews said it right! Everybody here "5-staring" these speakers all across the board is no mistake.

QS216 (MB QUART COMPONENTS)

Precise, outgoing, so powerful, bold and full of range. I am running a RA640.0 into them in the front. Absolutely happy with my order/choice. Not only did I get the high end speakers I was looking for, I bought them at the lowest price I could find them anywhere (web or retail).

GREAT SPEAKERS!!!!!!!

All I have to say is that this speakers sound awesome... and for those people who doubt this component set... I have to tell you that the Crossovers used in this system are engineered the same way as the German Maestro MS 6508 which is the company that used to be the original MB Quart in Germany... the QS216 speakers and tweeters are different from the German Maestro MS6508 but they are still built with great quality, and the sound is crystal clear... In other words they do Sound Amazingggg!!!

Beyond Amazing!

These speakers, being the MB Quart Premier Component Speakers, is the exact thing your car will need to take it to the next level. I would compare the quality of these speakers similar to listening to a typical 10 year old child learn how to play an instrument and then moving on to listening to the Boston Pops perform. The clarity of sound from the tweeters to the extreme coverage of lower tones and bass notes from the woofers give you the best experience that a car speaker could have.

My only qualm with the speakers is that the woofer is large (make sure you can install it), the tweeter is quite large (the magnet behind the actual tweeter), and the crossovers are huge (make sure you have space where you want to install it). I drive a Toyota Yaris and I made them fit, so my size complaint is extremely minor. :)

good deal

I purchased the components mb quart Q series for my 99 tahoe, and after shopping around i must say the sound quality is better than most..... Of course you guys know mb quart is produced in China, it still has that sound you look for in a quality system. I believe these components fair up to any of its competitors... They are a good deal at that price.... Yes their are alot other to choose from, but at this price the sound quality you get is outstanding.....I tried jl audio C3, polk audio, fosgate t3... These components are over $400 bucks and for half of that you get a better sound

Sounds great, perfect fit.

I hoped for super sound for my '95 Supra and these MB Quart QS216's even exceeded my expectations. I have two sets installed in the stock speaker locations, so two in the upper front of each door and two in the rear under the rear quarter window. I'm driving them with a Pioneer AVH-P3300BT, which exactly fit the OEM double DIN cutout, and the Pioneer head unit feeds the MB Quart Q4.150 amp which drives the speakers. The sound is very good. They project clear voice and midrange and the higher frequencies do not sound hard or unnatural at all. Bass is very good and tight being I have the four 6-1/2", but I'll be adding a subwoofer anyway to get that extra bump for some types of music that benefit from that.

Stop reading and just buy them

This was my first set of components and I was a bit iffy about the price but I decided to go ahead because I wanted good quality stuff plus everyone said the tweeters weren't bright which I HATE. This component set sounds like I have a sub installed when I don't. I have them in the from and back doors of my 2015 Elantra powered by a hifonics brx640.4 . I would have it no other way!
