Breathtakenly Clear
The Reference series are really a force to be reckoned with. Instruments sound as if they were in 3D form. The full range of the music can be heard, everything from the tiniest cymbals to the bass of the kick drub. They can be played with your regular head unit but they really come alive with an amplifier.

Time is needed
Great speaker after the break-in period. These hit hard! the tweeters are good, but seem to be coming more to life the longer I play them. For a quick easy up-grade from factory you can't go wrong!
