Most definitely not what mb quart used to be the highs sound tinny and cheap mid pretty good but turn up mid bass and u get tweeter distortion its like the tweeter and mid don't match

I have not bought car speakers in over 15 years. Back when I did, all I had was MB Quart. I read they were bought out and there were concerns over quality. The Z-Line series sounds just like I remember them. Very good off the factory radio, now just waiting to install the amp; I am sure they will be even better!

Great price! Great materials used in building spkrs! Was replacing a pair of old 6.5 spkrs, and looked at a lot of 6.5s thru Sonicelctrnx. Came across the MB Quarts & from the pictures they looked like Alpine type R 6.5s at less than 1/2 the price!! They sound great connected to an Amp, so I bought another pair for my Jeep & another pair just for back up! Quality speakers at a “great price “

Great Midrange speaker!!!

Great as a midrange I have these in my rear doors and alpine 6x9 in fronts with the nvx Zade amp powering them. It works for my sound preference

Recommend: replaced my mb quart 6 1/2 components z-lines with these sounds almost but not quite the same. Which is because of the passive x-over's on the components. If I have a complaint it's that there not bi-amp(separate terminals) for midrange & tweeter. None the less they sound great ????????
