MTX RTS8-44
This 8" DVC subwoofer arrived quickly. I built a .6 Cu Ft. enclosure to go behind the driver's seat in my Ford Ranger. I let it run for 8 hours hooked up to my home stereo to break in. It's output wasn't strong when crossed over at 70hz, but perked up nicely when crossed over at 120hz.
It has a nice thump, it doesn't go all the way down, but a bigger enclosure would help that. It handles power quite well -I'm pushing it with 200 watts. Overall, a rather capable 8" subwoofer, if a bit overpriced. I like the fact that it looks "normal", I don't like the subs that look like a transformer toy.
