Awesome Enclosure

This Enclosure Rocks - I have this hooked up to an MTX RTP202 Amplifier which pushes around 250W RMS, and the sub sounds great, although there is a little distortion at high volume - probably pushing the excursion to its limits, but it handles the power well. One drawback would be that the box is VERY large.

This is a really good sub. Amazing price makes this great for a small system. Sounds really clear. Not the loudest, but definately a really good, solid sub!

MTX Audio TCE4512A blows me away

I have to tell you, being a car audio junkie, I am very pleased with this sub box enclosure by MTX. I am extremely happy to have purchased it from Sonic Electronix because of the price. $109. You can't beat that with a stick, especially when the box retails for 60% more than that. I have this box in the trunk of my 2005 Saab 9-3. I have full control of the amount of the bass with the bass knob on my dash. Kudos to SE

I would definitely recommend this subwoofer and box to anyone on a tight budget looking for clean, tight, and great looking system. The sub is very musical and hits lows and highs. I recommend Dynamat or some other type of sound dampening for your vehicle to prevent rattling and to decrease distortion. I just have to add that the box is a little bigger then it looks in the picture.. LWH= 25x16x16 (about) so make sure it fits.

I bought this sub with the Jensen 1050Watt amp. This is a single 4ohm sub so it can only be used at 4 ohms. MTX is one of the best Audio Manufacturers around so don't miss out on this.

great sub

I got this sub back in December from Sonic and this sub is incredible for the price. I contacted MTX to see if that box that houses the thunder 4500 was built for the woofer and they said yes. The sub can get very very loud! i have driven the crap out of this sub and its so far throw back what i throw at it. very reliable. I will say that break it in for about week before giving it hell, because if u don't, you will blow the voice coil. its just some advice. also the accuracy is really really good. Trust me you will be pleased with this sub. just make sure you have a big enough amp to drive it. the one i have now is ok, but Kenwood amps really drive well.
