Great speakers for the price
Bought a set of these for cheaper daily driver and I was extremely surprised. They kept up with anything I threw at them. They were powered by a jl 4 channel. I’d recommend them

replaced MB Quart components
Installed in the door panel location of my Jeep Comanche. After adding a bit of dampener to the door skin, stuffing a few lengths of closed cell foam in the cavity, and blocking off big gaping holes in the door with some templated masonite and velcro, these little guys play pretty low and decently loud off just the head unit (Old 2006 Kenwood CD player HD tuner).
Unfortunately the grill wont fit the speakers when mounted on the 6x8 plate with tweeter, so one of the dust caps was punctured. Piece of electrical tape "fixed" it. Not bad bumps from a pair of 5.25s in a work truck running on 12-16w rms.
