Excellent product

This is great material and is very easy to put on with a heat gun!

Great package deal value.

I recieved this as part of a package deal. It is enough to cover the lid of my 98 Civic sedan trunk. This will clean up the sound of your lows by decreasing noise (rattles, distortion of sound, etc). This is the first step in noise reduction and everybody should start here.

I doubt it will create a noticable increase in sound from your speakers.

Great Price and Product

I found the price great for the product I got. Installation was very easy, product sticks very well (Remember to clean/prep the surface). I noticed a difference right away in my music as well as overall noise level while driving on the highway (Doors done - trunk is next). Not the thickest sound dampening out there but it def. helps :)

The battle against rattle

Got the sound dampening door kit with some speakers, the installer put it on the rear deck of my vehicle where my two rear speakers and factory sub are. The difference is night and day, expensive but quality, good to get with speakers or a sub.

Amazing Improvement

I bought two pairs of these to replace the standard door speakers in a 2009 BMW X3 E83 LCI. This car had the basic stereo. The improvement after fitting these speakers in the 4 doors as been simply amazing! Loving them. In terms of the installation I just want to say that although I was able to fit them, there are a couple of issues. 1) I had to file down the plastic edge of the Tweeter so that they would fit. This wasn't a big problem but it just required a bit of time and patience. 2) The woofers (Mid) are probably 1-2 mm thicker than the space available, but I was able to fit the door panels back in without needing to modify anything. All in all a very good option if you want to upgrade your X3 door speakers.

Great Sound... Great Price

I just got finished installing an all around MTX system in my 01 A4 using these for the front doors. To say the least I'm impressed with what they can take and the sound they deliver. An excellent product for the price. I was also happy with the "make an offer" option which allowed me to purchase these for somewhere around $90.00. Thanks Sonic. I'll definitely be back.

Awesome Speakers

Great speakers for the price!

Ear bleeding sound! These go so loud my 6.5" Rockford Fosgates in the rear can't keep up and make a crackling noise so had to turn down the gain on the rockfords. Amazing for their size don't produce much bass but I run them with a 15" so only need the sound not bass so they're very good as they're designed for sound not bass. Better than my old yellow Pioneer kevlar 6.5" Splits

OMG Speakers!

Well, if you're someone unfortunate enough to get stuck with a 4inch speaker hole, this is a great way to get some solid mids and lows. I put these in a Mazda B2600i with the tweeters mounted on the dash, and some Memphis msync 8s in the back, and it was way more than I needed. The crossovers aren't as bulky as most, though I could do without the stylized covers on them. Speakers come with everything you need to mount the tweeters, with several different tweeter pods for the angle you need. If I didn't already like MTX I certainly do now!

Excellent Product

I highly recommend this set to anyone who needs a great high end component set at a reasonable price. I bought these as a replacement for the factory Boston Acoustic speakers in the dash of my magnum. Absolutely blew the factory stuff away! Sounds great even without being amped. When I received the set one of the woofers was defective but just as promised it was covered under warranty. Awesome product and great website. Would highly recommend both to anyone.

not to bad

after the first set did not work. 3/47 speakers defective i was pretty discouraged. The mtx warranty department in wisconsin was A+ in serivce and they sent me 2 new pairs no questions asked. These worked perfeclty fine and powered to 75 watts rms each they sounds pretty crisp. not the cleanest sound in the world and not much midbass, but theres only so much a 4 inch speaker can do.

new respect for MTX

I own a Saab, and I do my own installation on my cars. European cars are a real pain to work with so you only want to do the job one time. I have these hooked up to a Kenwood class D amp with a Infinity 10 sub. I have to admit I was afraid these speakers would not hold up, but after 6 months. The highs are great, the mids come through well, and with the crossover the lows don't get through to distort. I listen to everything from rap to country to instrumentals. Can't totally remember but think I paid about 90 with best offer. This was worth every penny.

Great Dash Speakers

I would highly recommend this product, i have these in my reg cab Toyota pickup, replacing the 3.5 inch dash speakers. The mid woofers are great, as are the tweeters. to mount the tweeters, they give you surface mount brackets, and recessed mount ones. the crossover has a -3 db option if u want to tone it down a bit.. high quality parts, sounds clear, and can take a lot of punishment. great for something to get rid of those crappy stock speakers.. 5*
