Worth It!

I am a car audio addict, and I have to say these are the best pair of speakers I have ever owned. I have these powered to a 50 watt rms amp, 70 max. Amp half turned up and they are screaming in your ears. I have to say, for the money, it is well worth it. I wouldn't own another pair of component speakers. I would recommend these speakers to someone who likes it loud, or someone who wants to add better sound quality to their ride. These speakers hit a good bass too compared to other speakers. They are not a replacement for subs, but still good. You REALLY want these speakers, trust me!

MTX Audio TX5001

I just got one set of these for my Cherokee and it sounds amazing. Could not ask for much better. I'm soon going to be ordering another set for the back. The music and words are so clear now even with my sundown sa-15 hitting hard.

My 4th Set

Ok here it is. I bought 2x sets of these for my truck. My amp is set right to give it 105%.Thats not uncommon to do but unfortunately when MTX says 90 w/180w rms then that is exactly what they mean!
I blew 1 tweeter and i guess that speakers surplus power went to my other sets 5/ 1/4 and blew that etc etc.
So 95% power is my recommendation.
Also my audio enthusiast friends always say how sick the highs on this are totally isolating the bass to do its thing.
Always sounds great-but I am going to upgrade from these eventually to 300w/150 w rms since my amp can do 120w to each of the 4 mtx 5100's

These Speakers Really Put OUT!!!

these are the best set of speakers that i have. i have them hooked up to an alphasonik amp the put about 60 watts per speaker and they soak it up very well. they really put out. they drown out my 12 inch DVC sub and amped 6x9's. well worth the money

Great set of components. I had them powered with 50wrms and they sounded excellent even being underpowered. They can handle a lot more power. I had mine professionally installed but it's easy enough to do yourself.

i was very disapointed

For the money they didn't handle any power is i was going to spend this kind of money on speakers i would look at mb quart polk jvc infinity pioneer i got the JVC arsenal 5.25 components and i couldn't be happier.
