Incredible amp.

I bought this amp secondhand from a friend after a year+ of abuse powering two mtx 12's in the "Terminator" package. For around 6 months i had this amp powered by a computer power supply in my room, for those of you who don't know it's horrible for the amp, playing the 2 12's full volume for hours on end. Now its in my car and i have the remote attached to the positive terminal so its taking a full 12v on the remote, plus its bridged and playing the 2 12's wired down to two ohms, plus i keep it under the floor in the trunk so its getting little to no ventilation, and it just wont die! It cant die! This amp can output near its max forever and ask to be played some more! I haven't had ANY problems, even with overheating. In my application this set up is comparable to systems that cost 5 times as much. The audio quality isn't top notch and the low pass filter isn't adjustable (because it really isn't there) but come on, its a killer peice of hardware for $80!

great value

I bought this amp from another retailer for 100 dollars after arguying about the low wattage posted on the box the person who sold it to me told me it will blow my 12". I have a kicker comp 400rms being pushed by this amp going though a sondstream bx-10. I had to actually turn this amp down it will blow your speaker. It has low power listed on the box but it pushes well beyond it. The only bad part is it has no adjustments only gain and bass boost luckily my alpine has a well built in eq which almost requires a college degree.

cooling fan

I bought this amp a few years ago. It's a descent amp. But I don't suggest to put this amp in a area in where there is no insulation. The amp has a cooling fan but when the amp gets hot it shuts off. I don't recommend to buy this amp without installing it in a well insulated area.

Wow!

This amp is VERY powerful and will burn your speakers if they don't have enough power to handle it. The sound that this amp produces is crystal clear, beautiful and clean. You will not be disappointed.

TN200/2

Overall great bang for your buck I have four 6x9 and two tweeters connected to it. Sounds amazing just needs good airflow or will overheat easily. I solved this by making sure nothing was blocking the inlets and outlets and moved away from other amp but is a really great amp would buy again.

Great ampt for 2 10's

I just bought this amp last week. I was optimistic because MTX usually downplays the power of their amps, but also a little worried because the wattage was so low. I was very surprised at how light the amp was, but the power is definitely there. DO NOT BRIDGE this amp because it tends to cut out, but provides plenty of power for 2 10's with the non-bridge setup. For the price this does really good. I would NOT recommend pushing 12's with this amp, but at the same time I haven't tested it either.
