Great shallow Sub
Well, due to space limitations in my mid size truck, I didn't have a lot of options for adding a subwoofer, especially since I wanted all my cab and seat space. So armed with an MTX thunderform and this sub I gave it a try. Boy am I sure glad. It sounds great! If you have to be shallow, go with MTX

Ping or No Ping?
I own a mid size truck and wasn't interested in ripping out my back seat to put a large box and sub for some boom, so I turned to MTX and their Thunderform line. I tried to research and see what others thought, but there isn't a lot of info, reviews, or opinions on these. So I figured I'd chime in. First of all, these are light, something that common sense tells you is a bad thing. After I installed the sub in this box and properly installed it, I'm happy to report that I couldn't detect any ping and it sounded great. I expect to have this a long time and i am very happy with it.
The only con: I think it's a bit expensive, but at least it sounds good and makes the most of that little bit of space behind my backseat.
