Great Sounding, Non-Obtrusive
I wanted to add some low-end in my 2004 Ford Escape and this solution did the trick. The sub MTX included is a great value. I ordered the gray enclosure and painted it satin black to match my interior trim, using a plastic approved paint & proper surface prep. The sub can handle a lot of power. I paired it up with a quality, cost-effective Alpine MRP-M500

Impressive Sub!
I purchased this sub as a means to save space in the cargo area of my wife's 2004 Mazda Tribute. As far as installation it wasn't as straight forward as the installation book indicated. The sub fits nice but required me building a custom bracket, which I got the idea from the instructions from the 10" JL Audio vehicle specific enclosure. The sub is being powered by an old school PPI AX600 bridged mono. Even at age 38 I still love BASS and this sub has plenty of it. I would recommend this to anyone wanting clean tight bass from a very small enclosure for their Mazda Tribute.
