Perfect fit ,hard hit.
After my wife got rid of her Eclipse, she said that when I got ready to put a system in her 09 Mustang that she wanted the sub out of the way. I looked at the "stealth" boxes and knew I wouldn't be ponying up that kinda money. After searching Sonic I found this MTX Thunderform for about $150 cheaper than I could find it online or locally. It fits the '09 Mustang perfectly, and sounds amazing. I've got 250 watts RMS going to it, and it handles it perfectly. I've got the low pass set to 120hz and it has no distortion. I have the same amp in my car except with a Boston G2 12" sealed box. The Boston has dual voice coils and is 450 watts RMS on a 2ohm load, the MTX is single 4 ohm. My Boston had to have the low pass set to 80hz to get the tightness and accuracy of the MTX at 120hz. If you have an '05 to '09 Mustang this box is great, and highly recommended by me.
