MTX Audio XT693

Put them in the front doors of my 2009 Suzuki Equator 4 door pick up. awesome sound but no amp to shake the windows. Great highs and mid range for those of us who enjoy hearing the bells and key boards.

Great Speakers

6 months ago I got these MTX 693, zero complaints, they have a lot of thumping bass for just being 6x9. I still haven't install my subs, I may not even need them, we'll see. Great price, rapid delivery. I highly recommend these speakers, you won't be disappointed.

just bought a pair of these the other day with some boxes for them put them in the back of my truck and hooked up my 800w amp to them and man i had to lower the bass i didnt even need my sub and the highs are awsome too i still have two channels on my amp left and ill be gettin another pair of these.

ok 6x9's

They have good mids and highs, but lacking in the bass department even w/ a RF 200 watt to them.

Love These 6x9s

I replaced my 13yr old Pioneers with these and I have to say, WOW! I have these in a pair of Scoche 6x9 boxes and they sound great. I have them hooked up to a beastly Pyramid 600 watt 4ch amp with an MTX tr5512 and they are very well balanced. The bass is very impressive when in these boxes for 6x9s. Would buy again.

Awesome speakers.

Love these speakers. Dropped them into the rear of my 95 Accord DX on a JVC receiver and stock front Blaupunkts. Are nice and clear and have a decent hit. Awesome speakers for the price. I'm looking into replacing the front 6.5"s with MTX Thunders as well because of the excellent speakers that these are.

A must have buy!

These are some mean mother f****in speakers for just being speakers alone. Still debating on subs might not need em.

These mtx 6x9's are great! They produce great clear sound even at high volume. I recommended these to my friends, and I would recommend them to anyone. Great price for a great speaker.

Excellent

These speakers are nice when hooked up to an amp, even if they're not hooked up with an amp, they have excellent voice, high, mid. With an amp, excellent bass too! A+A+A+ for the price - High quality.

awesome speakers

mtx and alpine are the only brands i buy and i went out on a limb when i purchased these because i was on a budget and man am i suprised by the amount of bass these speakers produce with just a factory honda head unit! crystal clear mids and highs. highly recommend these speakers for anyone!

Awesome Sounf

Great bass and awesome sound. the cone really gets moving so they need ME to secure and tight in the car

They're okay

They sound great! That said after about a year the sun destroyed them. They got all cracked and brittle. Had to replace them.

Good price but not so good bass

I just bought a pair of these speakers based on the reviews. I was not inpressed with the bass. I had the speakers in small sealed wedge boxes behind the seat of my truck. So I bought a pair of bigger ported boxes hoping to get more bass out of them but no luck. I'm using a Crunch 150 watt amp to power them also. Good mids and highs but not good bass
