Mackie Big Knob big difference
I cant rubbish this unit at all. Its built solid. easy to use and an asset in my small home pro studio. When Mastering or mixing I can listen to my mixes and panning in mono using different speaker configurations with just a push of a button. I mean the whole unit is just money in the bank. It has helped my speed flow in the studio considerably.
As I write this... the Big knob is situated on the left hand side of my desk next to a pair of Pre 73 mk2 fully modded 1073's. on top that is my Motu unit n Mac Pro... my Novation sl mk2... and on my right is an old reliable 12 channel analog mixer and underneath that in a rack is another Motu 896 mk3 and an ISA 428 Focusrite a pair of dbx compressors and 2 One Q joemeeks. The Mackie Big Knob controls my HS80M's a pair of Genius 5's (beautiful) and a cheap **** pair of Creative speakers and a sub which is my go to speakers.
I love the knob its one cool unit that gets a hammering every day. Peace
