I wanted a good dvc sub to go with my R.Fosgate p 500 1 bd amp. I have a single ported box. Also wired it parallel so it would be at 1 ohm and get more power from my amp. So far the kilo has been impressive. It has taken the beating my music gives it. I play dance, dubstep, rock, rap, reggae and the kilo does a fine job. Just in case I bought the square trade warranty in case something did go wrong with it.
For the money I think it is a great product.

Great Sub - Solid Contender

I bought this sub because I remembered how much I wanted one of their CW's or DMX's back in the day. Those subs were epic and were some truly great competition woofers. I didn't have the budget for the Toro, so I went with the Kilo and I couldn't be happier. I wired this to a 1 ohm load, and this sub just flies. Really deep lows and pretty good response time for this size of magnet. I listen to music that ranges from speed metal to rap, and it does a superb job. Its just as deep and punchy as my fiancees Type R for less money. Very pleased with this purchase, plus the Kevlar cone just looks good in there. Can't go wrong with this Massive.

MASSIVE SOUND from the kilo

I have this currently in a sealed 1.0 cu. ft. box and sounds awesome. Now I need to dampen my car to stop the rattles in my cabin and with all that bass it is hard to see how it comes from a sealed 12 but now I am going to port it after 3 months of sealed bass. It sounds loud and clean, but thats to expect from this brand and love it. For the price these subs are well worth it, prob better than those rockford p3s or Re s-e-x.
