Looks like these work pretty damn good. Wish the amp light in the cross over was a 300 amp tho. Stays lit constant.

Well for starters, these are an entry level component system. With that said I had them installed in a 2003 Blazer with sound deadened and sealed doors, they don't sound to bad but being that they are a shallow mount speakers and on the cheaper side, they lack midbass and tend to have cone break up at higher volumes. After running them passive I tried them active and they performed alot better and didn't have the cone break up. The tweeters on this set actually aren't bad, I had them on and off axis and they sounded well. If you have an EQ where you could cut the midbass down some on them or a deck with the ability to do so you should be fine. They have to be amped though to get them to really shine. But overall it's not a bad budget shallow mount component system.

I installed these in the factory OEM location in my 01 Silverado and aimed the tweeter to the ear of the person across the cab and man these things are amazing! They make bad recordings of songs sound crisp and clear. I actually dropped the mid bass driver but they are so well built that they hardly scratched(the magnant is pretty heavy so it hit hard). These are deffinantly the best shallow mount components.
