Awesome Sub

Running one of these in a 1.3 cubic foot ported enclosure with about 650 watts RMS running to it and it hammers. Output is comparable to a 12. Amazing bang for the buck.

Ridiculous sub!

Built a .75 cubic foot vented enclosure for this beast and ran roughly 650watts rms to it and it absolutely hammers! Output could easily be compared to a 12".

Not installed yet but...

Looks and feels like a hard hitting little subwoofer. Comparable to the sundown e8 I have so if it performs anywhere near as good as that, I’d say it’s 5 stars. Can’t beat the $80 sale price

beast of a 8 inch

this Is not your everyday 8 inch subwoofer. It has the output of a 12 the weight of a 8 and is compact best 8 inch ever

Nice sounding sub!

I have one of these in a .75 cu. ft. ported box built to the specs in the owner's manual. It can certainly handle 300 watts, and it is built to take a little more than that. The sub does not feel cheap at all. A big magnet and the stitching on the surround are nice touches, and the pushbutton terminals can handle 12 AWG wire very well. If you like to hear the lows, this is a good option for rap, jazz, and country music.

Excellent

Took a bit to get this sub but the sound is amazing in my center console in my Jeep.

Amazing sub

This sub is a killer deal. Takes barely any space, hits hard, hits deep(for an 8) and sounds tight. I've had 12s, 10s, and now this 8 and I can definitely say I'm impressed with the quality.

Massive Audio SUMMO 84

Bought one of these to put in my 2016 Frontier. Built a custom box for under the rear seat, worked out to be around to be .72 cubic foot of airspace (with speaker),putting around 300 watts to it. Running sealed box 4 a change, it hits hard and pretty low on different styles of music. Would definitely recommend this to anyone! Not a lot of airspace needed for good bass!!

Awesome

I have 2 of these in a ported box and I must say I am very satisfied. I'm used to running bigger subs but I wanted some space back in my car. These perform better than any larger sub I've owned and make my rear view mirror useless. Friends have even questioned if I'm really only running 8s and then I show them. Super fast shipping from Sonic also.

These 8" Massive subs in the Atrend box absolutely slam! They're wired to 1 ohm so combined they will accept 600 RMS. The amp is feeding them 750 at 1 ohm and I am impressed. No one who is unfamiliar with my setup believes that there are a pair of 8's in the hatch until I show them. Of course it is not panel shaking, entire car rattling, rearview mirror breaking bass, but you can certainly appreciate what these subs can do with their compact size. Of course, when you have something good you want bigger and better. I am thinking of getting a pair of 10" or a single 12". We shall see but I would definitely recommend these Massive's! I have been running the subs and mono channel on the Soundstream amp for about a year and just had the doors and sound processor done on 4/8/2019.
