Works well

It works well. Is a lot smaller than my last 3.5 farad. But its doing a pretty good job for really cheap.

works great

I'm using this with a hifonics 1600 watt system and it seems to be doing the job. the only problem that i had was that i had missing parts. I don't understand seeing as it should have been bran new, but i guess i can live without it. The installation was easy and does the job.

GREAT PRODUCT!

This cap is a great value and works amazingly for what it is! I hooked it up to a volt meter and I only drop to 12.5 when my car is off. While running I am around 13.7 (not bad for all stock) will highly recommend this!

Cheap price

Cheap price for a decent quality product but most things that come from Maxxsonic is decent to quality anyway. I don't care that it has no display, because I put it underneath the side panel in my SUV to hide it it looks good like that. Thanks again Sonic Electronix.

Great Value

Not sure how much power it truly stores, but it does a better job then the 2 farad sound quest i have. For the price you can't beat it.

Works well.

I'm using this with a 1200 Watt Kicker mono block amp and it works very well.

Unlike others, I have had my system maxed out and have NOT noticed any odors or the like. Also, to those who say it still allows the voltage to drop...well of course it does. It's just a capacitor, it can only store energy as well as your battery/alternator allow.

Didn't work right.

I added this capacitor to my 1200W sounds system. It seemed to be working good. Tested it and would fluctuate and seemed to be doing its job. After turning it up a bit, my truck had an odor in it. I then did some investigating and noticed some smoke coming from the capacitor. I made sure everything was good and working right so I know it wasn't anything I did wrong. I had figured it is only a 1200 watt system and a 3.0 should be more than enough. I'm assuming it is either just cheaply made, especially with the noticably lower price for this type of product. Or I just got unlucky with a bad cap. But I guess I should have just spent a little more money on this part. I definitely am looking for a more quality product.
